  • @zsk7612 given there are inevitably going to be a lot of fairly young readers on here it would probably be best if you removed that comment - thanx

  • Looks like a converted GMC bus

  • It is a 1995 Carpenter bus that has been converted to a rehab unit. It is one of several vehicles operated by a non-profit group called Rehab 5 which serves fire departments within fire district 5 in Massachusetts with rehab services.

  • Sweet. I really like that Q siren wind down at 05:02.

  • those electric sirens are nice

  • I hate this parade... it wakes me up every year because the sirens go pretty much right past my house...

  • LOL, What was that little rig after the Oldsmobile ambulance at 1:20?

  • "911 what is your emergency?"

"Yes hello umm my cat is on fire"

    lol jk know it's a parade :)

  • hey, who's minding the fire house?? Great video. How do I find out when there next parade is? I would love to see that in person. Thanks for sharing!

  • This parade takes place around the 2nd week of June every year and runs from Lynnfield High School to Edgewater Park in Wakefield where the apparatus are put on display.

  • Crystal Clear

  • I like the deep low-pitched electronic siren wail that can be heard between 3:24 and 3:40. It sounds like it's coming from the yellow open cab pumper. This siren sounds like it could be an early Federal PA15A or PA20A. In my opinion, the early PA15As and PA20As were the best sounding electronic sirens ever made.

  • That's a PA15. It's coming from the Ford behind the yellow Maxim. (I was driving.) It is nice, but the yelp sounds like Sherriff Roscoe from the 'Dukes of Hazzard'. Drives me nuts.
