This is playback, sadly. I am 100% sure about this. You can see that Adrian didn't play his short part at the end of the solo. What is more, nobody played main guitar part at the end (I think it was Adrian's part too).

I also don't like this kind of shit, but Maiden was forced (probably) to do this because of the promotion of their new single (and album). Thankfully, they do this quite rarely:-) I know they done 6 playback performances, in 80, 82, 83, 86, 00 and 03.
