Your mills mess looks like mine. The balls don't follow each other as well as they should. Been working on my throws. Even though all the throws are correct, I have a tendency to toss one of the outside balls straight up instead of in the path of the others and it doesn't quite look right. Have to keep working on cleaning it up.

When I juggle Mills Mess I'd usually keep to a lower height so it's tighter. With higher throws like in the vid, yeah you're right, I have the tendency to throw them straight up.
