If you check w/your doctor, some may be able to use "Flector" adhesive patches for anti-inflammatory instead of Motrin/Ibuprofen. I've been on these prescription gel patches for a couple weeks and not having any side effects, and feel much better. Also had a cortisone shot & braces, but at least I can lift grandboys again. I don't even take Nexium anymore & still no tummy upset~yay!
Best advice is "take what your doctor prescribes". The problem is that not everyone has a great follow-up program postop, so they don't really know what is safe and what isn't. It's soooo important to keep in touch with your surgeon! Great video.
Nice seeing you. I really have to get caught up here. Too much work.
I am so glad you like your job and that things are going well for your family.
You look Marvelous! And healthy - that's the best thing. While you were talking, I started my "what I can do now that I couldn't a year ago" list - chairs with arms and all that. April 1 was my one year anniversary of my first appointment with the surgeon to see if I qualified for surgery. So glad I did it!
I too hate my flabby arms, but I keep telling myself that it looks better than the big fat arms I had before! At least the tummy flab is more easily hidden. ;-)
Another great viideo full of wonderful information. You are looking fantastic! Is is just me but I think you are looking younger :0) I am a habitual leg crosser myself now...it is such a great feeling. Thanks for the update! All the best ~ Kim
Thanks so much. I plan to keep the videos coming, but they may not be as often as I used to do. But I need to document my video for myself and I hope it helps others.
Thanks for the information, it's always good to find out or get refreshed with info. I haven't lost all my weight yet but my arms are getting pretty bad so I know how you feel. what a pain! LOL
hey- I was feeling solidarity with you when I saw your arms-- mine are the same! I think you are such a solid go to gal for all kinds of important info for us all! thank you for being here!
Hey, I'm behind on my video watching and didn't hear that you got a job. Congratulations! Do you like it?

You are welcome. I haven't been to England in quite a while. The last time was to Manchester and England. Then off to Paris and Ireland for business.

I know what you mean. I'd rather have the skin than the fat. Skin is easier to hide than fat.

Thanks for the comment about looking younger. I keep thinking I look older because my face wrinkles aren't as full. :)

Karen as usual great info! I like your uniform. I have the same arm issues!
Green is a great color for you!

I love having a uniform. That way I don't have to spend a bunch of money on office clothing. Thanks for commenting.

Yes, the arm thing is ugly. I remember seeing woman with that when I was younger saying to myself. "I hope I never have arms like that". Oh well.

My husband calls my arms my wings but has never ridiculed me. He just says don't worry, surgery can take care of it one day if you want to do that.
