  • Some of the footage isn't even the UK.... Shit editing by commie RT.

  • @lawes84 commies... keep uploading dogs chasing water and do not waste time here.

  • problem with britain is it does not really produce anything worth exporting or buying unlike germany with its great car industry or japan with it's electronics.

it is also an extremely wasteful country throwing away its money on public sector workers sectors, various dubious benefits and its stupid involvement in foreign wars.

  • britan and america love their steroid militaries

  • ADd to this , BP's troubles with Deep Water Horizon,,which will never ever go away..the Entire Gulf Coast will need subsistance payments for lost wages. The Gulf is a entire dead zone, which will take 10 yrs to complete its death process. BP will go BK = lost retirement funds for K's across UK.

Germany will eventually have to carry all 27 EU nations on her back, Miss France can't save germany

Some yrs off, but THAT day will come.

  • I left UK in 2008 after failing to establish a good second career upon the termination of my 19 year RAF career. I re-located in my wife`s native Labrador, a very isolated part of N/E Atlantic Canada. My marriage is coming apart, and the though of returning to whence I came is almost overwhelming to me. My country, like my marriage, is in serious peril. I`d better get my right hand prepared for burger flipping aswell as mutally self assured mastribation!

  • @8corporal Why didn't you put in your 20 years and then retire?

  • The British have morally bankrupt for centuries. Wherever you find abject depravity, the British accent is never far removed.

What the British need is few more Muslims in their country. There R far too few Nigerians, Pakistanis, Iranians, Somalis and Morocans in London, Bristol, Manchester & Liverpool. Open up the gates Little England. You rejected Europe, now enjoy your well deserved fate !

  • @Avalon400 Thats Rich coming from the Most Hated Nation in the world.

  • germanys surplus is others debt so it dos3ent work if counrys like greece ireland and other werento corrupt they would keep their debt in place protect their industries and help the economy stay within and germany would not have surplus germany was the country who won more with eu, much more then southern europe witch is all bankrupt, if we leave eu and start protec6ing our economy, and everyone nowdays can make cars and electric shit...

  • The tough guys from the police academy get to beat people again. 0:45

  • FUCK THE ROTHSCHILDS AND THE CENTRAL BANKS

  • the world is bankrupt lol, america is worse tho as its currency is ready to collapse,

  • Yep you make sense here but creation of goernment the mistake they made then blame others nation to say we lend you and you are not paying back? Just hold on a minute, UK might have paid 10 billions to other countries but UK debt is over 5 to 10 trillions? so 000000000.00001 money been lend to other nation and tell UK public that others not paying us back? It was UK where first Bank went down and rest of the world followed so why is this? Would you need more Police on the street or less in time?

  • jim Rodgers is a buffoon and so is russia today

  • @trinitystarr11 Of course people are not going to listen to the truth. Believe me Jim is right, this world is going down!

  • no the police aren't the problem. the billionaires are.

  • Royal wedding is the prelude to UKs royal economic collapse...

  • no...THE ROYAL WEDDING WILL SAVE ENGLAND....BULLSHIT..

  • Look at those Huge crowds of people compared to the police, DON"T YOU PEOPLE GET IT, WE OUTNUMBER THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHYTHE FUc u sitting on ur compuer instead of doing something about it!!!!!!! tell ur friends tell everyone.

  • @myersjonathon

Uh... tell who. Do you think police are the problem here ?

  • Schaden Freude my friend. It is time they pay for all they have done to the world!

  • Whatever happens in the EU will sure as Hell happen in the USA. The USA is the most indebted country in history (approx $17 Trillion) and the only thing that is saving the US is being the world reserve currency and that will soon come to an end, but the shtf here before that happens. The USA is more in debt than the whole of the EU combined.

  • @Saywhatyoumust Indeed, USA has larger debt than all the EU combined in terms of total debt. The external debt in USA is about 97% of their total economic GDP but EU external debt is far larger than their own GDP, UK (398%), Luxembourg (4636%), France (188%), Netherlands (344%), Spain (157%), Ireland (1224%), Portugal (204%)... Which means that EU members have bigger problems than USA. But you are right though, USA will face similar problems like the EU if they havent sort this out.

  • @halffish2006 - And you think with a debt of $17 T. and counting + trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities, the US will actually get it sorted? - I think not!

    The US’ time is coming.

Good job on the percentages though.

  • "The problem with Socialism (i,e, Collectivism) is...that eventually someone else's money always runs out". -- Margret Thatcher ex-Prime Minister of England.

  • To add to this, socialism, collectivism would only really work (better) if everyone contributes to the system. The trouble with the EU socialism was that there became too many (lazy/scammers) people taking out than putting in and the authorities didn’t do too much about it. So of course it was going to run out of money at some point. But I kid you not, the US system is no better, there is much exploitation here and many people declare bankruptcy due to healthcare amongst other things.

  • @Saywhatyoumust "The trouble with the EU socialism was that there became too many (lazy/scammers)". Germany seems to be doing alright on EU socialism. It has good welfare, education and high taxes.

Personally I think the UK went astray when we gave up making things. Successive governments from Thatcher forward have been completely obsessed with the service sector.

  • World chaos fall into the new world chaos hands nice one pepole play their hands !

  • Can some one tell me how we are going to pay employees their final defined pension schemes. A report stated £7,000 is the average. Wake up you puppets and get some financial certificates. ahahahahah. F ing idiots, no income checks on ALL mortgages ( 10 YEARS ), hahahahaha. We are not dead , but a country that is in the biggest 'Morgue' in the WORLD. DEAD AND BURRIED, ex .... FSA.

We cover up everything and the public buys it ahahahahah.

  • e-cock-omy. lol. Wow, some one Uk media and Government have just found out that Portugal may need to be bailed out. My God, are we that behind in the WORLD. What a bunch of educated people we have in this country. Never heard of ' PIGS', PORTUGAL,IRELAND.GREECE and SPAIN. What a sad state of affairs we are in. We must be Bankrupt Britain and the biggest idiots on the World Financial Platform. A negative GDP for our last quarter, News state no economists saw this ?? yeah, blame the snow.

  • we need to stop the interest payments now and sack off the debt! why not? who will come after us? it'd be a brave lot indeed to take on the men of britain and ireland, so i say stuff the banks and stuff the debt, if they come after us then bring it on, we're not shy about fighting, we love it, so bring it on!

  • @rugbyboy198127 you mean like Iceland tried and lost?

  • @RoloTamasi100 hehe yeah i was with them all the way lol would teach the people not to invest in 'dogdy banking schemes' like those in iceland - you know the councils all had their money in iceland lol risking tax payers money there to squeeze more money for our nanny police state and lazy benefit stealing public! they should be made to learn the lesson and lose the money lol! not the fault of icelanders, decent tax paying hard working folk - its those bankers and we bail them out over and over!

  • @rugbyboy198127 You blame the bankers, I blame the government more. Not only were they responsible for regulation, which they substantially relaxed, they also stoked up the Financial sector to get growth to pay for the continuous increase of government spending.

  • @RoloTamasi100 ofcourse you are right, the governement failed to regulate the banks, infact here in uk they signed over control to the bank of england i think as the general consensus was that the government had made a mess of regulating the banks, so the central banks should regulate the banking system (haha epic epic mistake) but it's the bankers who have done this, governments sat back and did nothing, letting this happen! ok so what if we choose not to recognise the court? who will enforce?!

  • @rugbyboy198127

The centralized banking system is at least as old as the 16th century England. Government greed causes it, and there is no mistake about greed.

The government sat back and raked in the dough, you mean. Selling one's soul to the highest bidder is rarely regarded as an innocent mistake. Only in modern times, can a man pretend his motives are pure while selling out his country. It is always the other guy, of course. The partner in crime is to blame.

  • @riverlioness yes but it was never about greed back then... it was about survival for the english and the dutch! the spanish/portugese new empires were full of bounty, the english had survived by sheer pirateering alone an this banking system along with control of the spice trade allowed the english/dutch not only to compete and form empires of their own but to survive as entities - we'd all be speaking spanish otherwise! however now it is very different indeed, bankers partisan now - rip us all

  • @RoloTamasi100 so i say sack it all off! why should i pay, my taxes going to these bailouts, so a few people can wipe the slate clean, keep their money and bonuses and stay rich and get richer off my back - all our backs? stuff that, so i say stuff them and their debt - it isn't my debt! iceland is tiny and weak in reality, however britain and ireland are not! what can the bankers do, the world elite, who dares to twist the arm of britain? the stakes are too high now, brits had enough, revolt!?!

  • @rugbyboy198127 The bail-out wasn’t paid from taxes it was from debt. It cost about £76Bn and total debt is about £1,000Bn so the bailout is less than 8% of the total debt. The shares in the Banks the Government took have a market value and when they are sold they will make a profit for the taxpayer.

On the main point 2 big things happen if we default on the debt. The country will be taken to court and be forced to pay and the cost of future borrowings will go through the roof.

  • Spassy students look funny. Playing naught rioting wanne be games ha.

Does'nt stop vast property buying from the far east in to London does it? No

  • Common sense from Jim. Politicians and banksters are the scum of the earth!

  • the fact is that gov are protecting the rich mistakes they are making poor suffer

  • i really hate top see blacks hitting the streets when they see problems to robb stuff and break stuff when they dont even know why people are going out, they dont even have a dog in the fight and once they see chaos there they are destroying everything

  • He's right! I have lived in England myself, what I see is massive benefit fraud by both immigrants and english people, it's very easy to abuse the system. All pakistani taxi drivers work in secret and then sign on, claiming they are unemployed, then some illegal immigrants from Somalia and Jamaica are given entire homes for free!! it's absolutely mad to be a taxpayer there, I'd have to take medication to be able to sleep.

  • Fuck this shit...listen to the grateful dead instead!

  • The only reason it's called the "American Dream" is because you have to be asleep to believe it... (Carlin).

  • Look up, The American Dream - Full Length

  • lol at Jim's video camera.

  • "Are they going to do it? No."

I agree and that's why it's time to leave. Just building up some funds and then I'll take my family and we'll get out of here.

  • China cant be very happy with all them British an American bonds devaluing turns their mountain of cash into a mole hill .

  • Jim Rogers for Secretary of the Economy!

  • JIm youre wrong about the Military spending in the UK therye actually cutting back on Military spending, the Ark ROyal was decomsioned just the other day!

  • I can't understand why free marketeers can never talk about crisis without talking about welfare. Has Rogers ever done any research on what it's like to live on the dole? How does he know that living on the dole in the UK is living comparatively well? How?

  • @rederic2004 "I can't understand why free marketeers can never talk about crisis without talking about welfare."

Because welfare breeds laziness, and dependency. A small percentage of people on the dole are really in need. Most however, are just gaming the system.

Soon, welfare payments will exceed income tax receipts. Does that not bother you?

Limit welfare to only those truly handicapped, and all would be well. Else, the system would crumble when funds run out. Then what?

  • @21wf It's not welfare, it's the central bank system that prints money out of thin air and loans it to the government/people. AT INTEREST. The bank does NOTHING TO EARN the money, and then LOANS it out at interest. So, they again print that out of thin air and again, LOAN it out at interest. It's a never ending spiral, a monumental Ponzi scheme that bleeds the productive efforts of those that actually WORK to produce value in the economy.

Look up, The American Dream - Full Length

  • @beneehall

"It's not welfare, it's the central bank system that prints money out of thin air and loans it to the government/people."

But why does the government need to print so much money? Perhaps to pay for welfare?

As for banks loaning money out, we all benefit when banks pay taxes to the government. But how do you benefit when lazy, able-bodied people receive welfare?

  • @21wf The banks don't loan only money that has been deposited. Look up "Fractional Reserve Banking" This little scheme allows banks to loan out the money on deposit not just once, but SEVEN or more times. It's a PONZI scheme. Look up, The Creature From Jekyll Island. Also, Money as Debt Check out, whatreallyhappened(*)om Look up, The Five Dancing Israelis The USS Liberty Jonathan Pollard
  • @beneehall "The banks don't loan only money that has been deposited. "

True. But you're not seeing the bigger picture. Which is that welfare fraud is costing you huge amounts of money. Unless of course, you belong to the unproductive segment of the society.

You bury yourself in all kinds of details, but forget the fundamental reason you're discussing this in the first place.

I'm against the Federal Reserve. But this is not about that Ponzi scheme. It's about welfare fraud.

  • @21wf @21wf The government DOESN'T print he money The Federal Reserve, the central bank of the USA is neither federal nor does it have any reserves. The "FED" is a privately owned institution it is NOT an arm of the Federal government. The US Constitution states that ONLY the government will have the power to print the money of the nation.

This power was shifted to a privately owned corporation and it prints money out of thin air and then LOANS it to the gov't AT INTEREST. It's a SCAM.

  • @beneehall You're belaboring the point. The government is a fraud. Yes. The Fed is a Ponzi scheme, yes. But how does that change the fact that Welfare fraud has become a huge boondoggle?

  • @21wf Welfare fraud pales in comparison. How about the bailouts and the BONUSES given to the CEOs that drove their banks into the dirt.

Sorry, but you're just shilling for the PTBs.

You sound smart so you MUST know what's really going on.

Look up, The American Dream - Full Length

Then get back to us with an informed comment.

Otherwise, FUCK OFF, you're part of the problem.

    Clear enough ?

  • @beneehall Good debate 21wf and beneehall - I declare beneehall the winner! And still people are trying to blame everything that's happened in the last few years on the poor... I suppose that's the result of billions of dollars' worth of propoganda from the rich and powerful...

  • @nowthatsinteresting1

"people are trying to blame everything that's happened in the last few years on the poor..."

Only problem is, nobody can explain why somebody born in a wealthy nation, would grow up poor. Could it be because you keep telling them it's ok to be poor, because the rich is greedy?

The message you should be spreading is that if you work very hard, you would succeed. Enough success exists for everybody. Get off welfare, work toward success.

  • @21wf The poor sods on welfare are totally irrelevant to what's going on, They haven't caused the free market system to crash. They are quite cheap to maintain - compared to the cost of the massive subsidy going into the free market - and they mind their own business. Trillions have gone into illegal wars and banks - and you're a bit worried about a bit a welfare to keep people from being so poor they have to go out and rob you and me??

  • @21wf

But certainly welfare didn't cause the current crisis, and I still wonder how anyone can possibly know all these things about welfare and its recipients.

  • @rederic2004

"But certainly welfare didn't cause the current crisis, and I still wonder how anyone can possibly know all these things about welfare and its recipients. "

Current crisis was not caused by welfare?

The fact is, welfare has become too expensive. Welfare is good when it helps the needy. But would say that everybody on the dole today is downtrodden? Most are just gaming the system, causing taxes to go higher and higher.

  • @21wf No, more than HALF of government spending goes to the military and arms spending. Your taxes and massively borrowed money is being pissed away killing men, women, children and babies in the Middle East.

Iraq never HAD any WMDs. Afghanistan? Bush said long ago that he doesn't think about Osama any more. Remember when he said, We'll get him, dead or alive? Sure. Now just WHAT is the point of continuing to piss away American lives and money over there?

  • @beneehall that is bollocks, military spending is about 7% of UK Gov spending.

  • @beneehall

"No, more than HALF of government spending goes to the military and arms spending"

Wrong. Defense spending is only about 6%. Welfare takes up over 35%.

  • @beneehall Come on pall. We all know these `wars` were about the protection, secuirty and `legitimate` access and control of much in demand and finite oil and gas reserves in the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Basin! Neither of such actions would have legally permisble with out that `cataclsmic event, like a new Pearl Harbour`! Further, the protection of the US Dollar as the GRC which Iraq`s Sh threatened just as Libyia`s MG was in his oil rich nation!

  • @21wf The system crumbled a long time ago so wake up and smell the coffee, I choose welfare over self imposed and perpetual slavery any day, Its the only form of protest left . I doubt there will be any change in my lifetime so until people wake up to the corrupt bankers and politicianns and actually make a positive change that doesn't rely on peoples exploitation but works for the mutual bennefit of all, then i'll keep colecting the free beer vouchers.

  • @rederic2004 Because he's lived in the 2nd and third world and see's how people live that even have a job there.

  • @GaryVolts

Though living better than a slum dweller in Calcutta is not necessarily living well, and I still don't know why he thinks he knows what living on the dole is like.

  • @rederic2004 I just told you why. I think he's just expressing a popular disgust with welfare states. Children are supported by others, adults provide for themselves.

  • @GaryVolts

Are you trolling? Because if you had told me why I would not have responded as I had. There are many different kinds of welfare states, of course, including those created by adults to provide some support other adults who have fallen on hard times, even if some undeserving benefit. And since indeed all adults in all advanced economies benefit from some kind of govt provision (roads, police, defence) it seems unfair to blame unemployed adults for problems not of their making.

  • @rederic2004 3 weeks is too long ago to remember the original beef. Sorry. I would say that the more you hedge people's risk of failure, the more risk they will take. It's called "moral hazard" and it's what's for breakfast. I don't blame the unemloyed for anything unless of course they think they should get some form of compensation for having acheived that status.

  • @rederic2004

Sorry? I fail to see how living in a 2nd/3rd world country provides information on what it is like to live on the dole in the UK.

  • @rederic2004

In Calcutta we have free education... We do not face student riot...Our Communist Govt. is much better than your Capitalist Govt.

  • @Maxsarkar What percentage of Calcutta kids get free University Education?

  • @RoloTamasi100

Anyone can go to study in University of Calcutta, if he or she wants to study. i have spent 3 years at University of Calcutta by just $100 for registration fee. The full cost is paid by the West Bnegal Govt. which is run by Communist Party of India (Marxist). I am glad to have such Comuunist Govt., in West Bengal state of India who gives importance in Public sector. Health, Educaton, even transportation is not considered for making profit.

  • @Maxsarkar In the UK there are two different debates. The first is that for many students over 16 years old the government pays them up to £35 per week (roughly $50) for attending education, which is free. They intend to stop this payment.

For University education the government pays for it plus some money for living costs etc. But it claims it back over 30 years if the student earns a good wage. If the student does not earn a lot then they never pay it back.

  • england is richer than ever ,its never been better in england its booming there, this guy is wrong.

  • @amcanmike are you joking? booming? britain is in huge debt, around 4 trillion ponds (6.5 trillion dollars) and it's getting worse every day. britain pays more on the interest payments of that debt than it does in education and health combined. britain is fucked.

  • @scottishlad1987 Interest = £43Bn Health = £126Bn Education = £84Bn. So you are wrong by a factor of 5.

  • @RoloTamasi100 you're right, i apologise. i head that being said and i repeated it without checking. but christ, £45 billion on debt interest is an unbelievable amount and it should make people wake up to the mess that we're in- but still people moan when the government even talk about reducing the deficit, never mind starting to repay the enormous debt.

  • @scottishlad1987 Its 8 trillion now

  • @scottishlad1987

    Jesus. That is bad yo.

  • @scottishlad1987 Britains debt is almost 400% its gdp, they raised their debt ceiling years ago, this debt is titanic even by USA standards, still the British aren't fvcked, they will and are paying the debt off

  • @scottishlad1987 Och aye and scotland is in The Black i suppose, keep on talking like the Tit you are, If were skint You are.

  • @spinaway THE SCOTS GET MONEY FROM OUR ENGLISH GOVERNMENT..ONLY TODAY ALEX SALMOND THE SCOTTISH MP WAS BOASTING ABOUT THEIR POLICE GROWING IN NUMBER EVEN NOW, ALSO THEY GET PERSCRIPTIONS FREE AND LOTS OF OTHER THINGS WE ENGLISH HAVE TO PAY FOR DOWN HERE...YEH WELL WHO FINANCES THAT?? US STUPID ENGLISH YOU GET YOUR OWN PARLIAMENT IN FUCKING ORDER!!

  • @numberyanbitch What The Fuck are you on about I am English.

  • Respond to this video... look At All The economic Experts on here none of em have any money, Fuckin idiots, armchair economists lmao

  • @spinaway i said britain, which includes scotland. you're just paranoid about scots being anti english. no point calling me a tit over the net though mate, i doubt if you'd say that to my face.

  • @scottishlad1987 Your only British when it suits you, as for calling you a tit, why would i not say it to your face? are you a Hard case or something, your a typical scots wanker Ya think your better than the rest, well sorry you scots oik your not and you will do as westminster Tells you, now fuck off back to your shitty little nomarks Land.

  • @amcanmike to determine how rich a country is you need to look at if it is a producing or comsuming country?

britian produces hardly anything therefore britian is a comsuming nation, you're spending money you haven't got on buy junk, british bankers are rich but you're not

  • Social benefits are not the problem. Exporting industries to cheap labor countries and shutting down domestic production which is increasing unemployment are the BIG problems and bailing the bank outs with tax payers money. Take the tax heavens away from those to rich to fail parasites and put a heavy import tax on products produced in countries that have no worker unions or human rights protection.

  • why not stop declaring war on innocent countries so we can rip off there resources, that would save alot, then make the real criminals the bankers pay,not the working people by increasing taxes, its so wrong,

  • Comment removed

  • Jim for Secretary of the Economy!

  • ENGLAND IS THE ASSHOLE OF THE WORLD.

  • @Manofbegging

  • I think he should replace both Bernake and Geithner.

  • The Us and Britain are both BANKRUPT! PERIOD! How the fuck is the US going to pay 14 trillion bucks? Don't know what Englands debt is? Can someone tell me? How about the fucken interest on these debts? US is totally fucked,no jobs,no medicare, too many overcrowded prisons,no jobs!!

  • @TheGeorgecostanza Britian gross external debt is 9 trillion $ you should go to the wikipidia page on external debt there is a list there of countries by external debt but also other lists like public debt etc. etc. etc.

You may also wan't to check out us national debt clock real time. just type it into google it will come at the top of the page.

  • "You could live better in England unemployed than in many countries employed."

  • @famemolto only for a little while then the free ride ends

  • @famemolto yeah if you are a sand nigger with 10 brown kids

  • I wonder why the English pay for all this Pakistanis, Inds, Arabics, Africans and other foreign People. Why flooding their own Country with all this People who behave like Enemys and why transfering a lot of Money to them and their Children?

What have the English won the War (2nd and 1st) for? For beeing flooded by adversarial alienracic Peoples. It seems like they have done the English something in their Groundwater.

    Greetings

    Hanno

  • Gordon Brown what a legend!

  • Strongly agree about the military. A single one of their aircrafts can cost anything more than £750,000...they are not cheap at all. We don't need protecting at the moment. I think Germany is playing nice now (I sure hope!) and here we are fighting a war in afghan for no fucking reason. Pull them out, stop building tanks and what not...save tons of dosh and save lifes at the same time. Simplez..

  • @marnup92 what is germany up to these days exactly? here in america we don't hear much about germany, is it at war peace>? finance issues what's going on?

  • @sum41Rck we are sitting around waiting for the SHTF :-))

got some nuclear transports which always get the police out . (the transports are not very popular. those silly do-gooders) other wise everything is still stabile. the fuel price has risen from 1,20cent per liter to 1,32cent a liter of diesel. petrol(gas) has gone from 1,35 to 1,50 a liter (3,79liters in a gallon, 1dollar is 0,76 cents=) the real inflation is about 7-9%. foodprice rise 15%(salad~44%) tv and electronics have become cheaper

  • @marnup92 germany is also fighting a war in afganistan!! and the government is complaining that the people are not behind the soldiers:-PP the german people do not want soldiers in afganistan. even though alot still believe the lies of the media and politicians

  • @marnup92 we are not in Afghanistan for no reason and the reason is to protect the drug supply lines, the banks rely heavily on the money generated from drugs, its probably one of the most lucrative incomes they have along with gold and oil hence the god analogy Gold Oil Drugs, don't be so niave.

  • It's like something out of the darkages.

  • @TrousersDPM nonono

its the new and improved darkages and we are heading there at full speed :-P

have you got a garden to feed yourself. when you have to choose between buying food or fuel to get to work:-P?

  • @lookingforthemeaning lol. We're ready here! ; )

  • FYI: Jim's calling for Obama and Bernanke to resign.

  • .......apparantly, the US Federal Reserve's booklet Modern Money Mechanics, which details the QE process,is now out-of-print....

  • I talked about many of the same things Jim Rogers is talking about to a guy from Wales, and he agreed absolutely, the UK is in big trouble - he told me about their welfare program "gyro" - he told me about people who have lived their entire lives just on welfare, had kids who grew up entirely on welfare, who are now adults and have kids themselves and never had a single job! That's incredible and frightening.

  • "Making things worse slower"

This could be a slogan for the next elections! ;-)

  • Yeah! it seems that UK debt is worst than Portugal's! PIGS! Hum!! ahahah

The world are getting crazy and it seems that in 2012 something bad will really happen. Buy a ticket to watch the show!! I will pray until then.

  • This clown talks about 'welfare' for the unemployed...the poor idiot. Why doesn't he talk about welfare for the billionaire banksters? Again...the poor idiot.People are by & large so F-ing stupid! In the states you get 66% of your regular pay when unemployed. If we cut back the work week commensurate with the unemployment level, we could end unemployment. Then people will complain because their paychecks went down say 10% (according to the unemployment rate). Awaken & share the pain fluoride heads

  • @christophercredit - indeed. Austerity for everyone except senior bondholders. That's not capitalism, that's slavery. Though he does say "let banks fail". That's the only way out of this mess. If Ireland rejects the IMF bailout/enslavement, they'll have to, anyway.

  • @reptilespantoso The Office of National Statistics has classified the Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds as public corporations but hasn't yet included their liabilities in the national debt. When they finally crunch the numbers, expect the results to be ugly. According to EU figures, Britain has pledged £781.2 billion in capital injections, liability guarantees and liquidity support to the banking system. As taxpayers, we're on the hook for any losses.

  • Raf, you believe the govt's PRIORITY is the country? What country are YOU living in?

Right, our bridges, highways, banking system and civil rights are being chipped away while we pour America's financial future into the sand of Iraq and you think the govt has your best interests at heart?

    Do you play poker?

  • well, stop gicing away money to the pakis

  • @johnSheindlins I'm not going to accept that. The elite are weaker right now than they ever have been. If a critical mass of people begin to reject their system they will fall rapidly and it will devastate centuries of planning world domination by a few families. People hang on to this system because they have always been told it is the best and offers the most freedom. Going forward we need to admit it has failed and that any government that can tax or use force on the people is NOT freedom.

  • The simple truth is that you can not spend more money than you take in, Period. Governments are too big and too powerful just like the banks.

  • Why are some people having a dig at RT and Jim Rogers?

He is just giving his views and opinions, and not saying that every one of his 50+ statements is the definitive reason.

You should be grateful you have access to an alternative news center like RT.

  • @johnSheindlins I agree, but one thing is observable from history is when things get that bad, people do revolt against the ruling classes. That is not to say they will not fight amongst themselves for resources to, but it is generally less so in many not all areas of the world. Altruism will kick in for the most part. Additionally we are better equipped now than we have ever been in our entire history to communicate on an international level in order to identify and address problems.

  • Maybe we should take the Russian approach of state sponsored organised crime then? I love how it's a Russian news channel putting out as many videos as they can to make Britain seem as bad as possible. Maybe someone should remind them the Cold War is over and they lost...

  • Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future, And time future contained in time past. If all time is eternally present All time is unredeemable. What might have been is an abstraction Remaining a perpetual possibility Only in a world of speculation. What might have been and what has been Point to one end, which is always present. Footfalls echo in the memory Down the passage which we did not take Towards the door we never opened

  • @GunitForLyfe I wish I could type that well when I'm stoned....

  • @GunitForLyfe yep and thats exactly why they let you smoke it!!

  • @throwerofturds rogers isn't just saying this stuff on YouTube, but on cnbc and as many other media outlets he can get exposure to

  • @sdjiojo342w much better put than me, well said!

  • @throwerofturds he never mentions that the US is bust, and that's my point, by his measure he should be saying that. He is talking his own book in that he can't stop talking about how great Asia is. I'm highly suspicious of celebrity investors as their opinions have significant sway of public opinion and how said public invest, so who knows if his motives are noble or not!?

  • @jbutterfill He mentions the US is finished all the time. He even openly admits that is why he moved his family to asia.

  • @sdjiojo342w im not sure what authority you may have but jim rogers talks only the truth .if you cant see that then you are a lost soul .

the power of influence of one youtube video is usually extremely small .

  • Britain isn't going anywhere whether the us, russia or anyone else likes it or not. Although I do agree with some of the points raised in the video so this is not a negative comment. JS

  • Russia is a Mafia state. Where millions live in poverty.

  • The EU may not survive next year.

  • Moscow /watch?v=ytGWHDYB6Gk

  • Jim can you buy a decent web cam?

  • @UNITEDSTATESMETALS Even the billionares are being frugal these days buying cheap cameras

  • I suspect jim rogers is talking his own book, what a great way to improve your investments, slag off those countries you have short trading positions on. It is funny how he hardly mentions the US which has an almost identical monetary and fiscal problem as the UK.
