I think people need to get off the gay thing and just love someone for whats in their heart, and Clay has a BIG HEART! Or if you don't love someone just go on with your life and let them do the same..That should be his private life just like our life should be our private life..I know for me I love Clay! And I'm a grandma of 4. I see what is in his heart by his actions he loves kids and ones with special needs.I would be proud to call him my friend, son, grandson..Just try to see their heart

@SuperPreston18 He was still gay. But, you don't have to hate him. And these songs aren't any less real. People write songs that aren't from their exact perspective all the time, plus, you're right that he was writing all the songs as if he was someone who had girlfriends. Plus, homosexuality is a spectrum.
