  • This is my favorite song by queen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Non usare il cervello, siediti on TV, ipno$

  • Dear School :

    Do you know that :

You suck my blood like a leech you break the law and you preach screw my brain till it hurts!

You taken all my time and you want more ????

Misguided old mule with your pig headed teachers

With your narrow minded students who are fools on the first division ...

School on two legs you tearing me apart .. School on two legs you never had a heart on your own .. DEDICATED TO YOU, SCHOOL !!!

And I thank to Freddie Mercury that he write this song ...

  • MY MUM KEEP'S TAKING MY MONEY AND I NEVER GET IT BACK. SO THIS SONG KINDA DESCRIBES WHAT IT'S LIKE IN MY LIFE.NICE ONE FRED.

  • @OhYouMeanMe1 don’t get me wrong, muse are a great band, buuuut I think they let their influences bleed through in their music way too much. I don’t think they rip off other people at all, but I do believe they're unquestionably standing at the edge of plagiarism

  • is it just me or does muse's newborn kinda take inspiration from the piano at the start of this song? same-ish melody.

  • @SpacePianist Muse is actually inspired of a lot from Queen's earlier stuff (well, that's atleast what I've heard), so I guess you can be right. :)

  • funny little is frog is better, sebastian just perfected it

  • Shark!

  • am I the only one who listen only "you suck my blood like a leach" part :D

  • @avnirock no, i take joy in it too.

  • ... now you kiss my ass goodbye ...

  • this is the first kind of Metal.. this is considered a metal song.. every guy that loves de heavy metal, must recognize that metal songs of Queen as another bands, was the inspiration of many of their favorite bands of Metal.. long life Queen ;)

  • So dad.

  • The one who disliked it is the guy to whom this song is dedicated. I know his name but won't tell.

  • @Strifeguy1995 They're just a hot air balloon.

  • Today I bought this album (vinyl)

  • Los mejores 3 minutos de un disco rock de todos los tiempos.

  • Pedazo, PEDAZO de canción

  • The intro...

  • Je découvre cette musique il y une semaine. J'ai sans-doute jamais autant écouté une musique en si peu de temps.

Freddie Mercury est mort, son génie reste présent...

  • The best song about anger of all time! Love Queen

  • This is one of the best Queen songs ever made, I heard it on the radio a couple of weeks ago when it was twenty years since Freddie Mercury died. He should have been sixty-three years old this year...

  • brilliant!!!!!

  • SHARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I muted it right before he said, "kiss my *ss"

  • @maurawolf99 why?

  • freddie u are and always will be a king of music and a legend forever more

  • @htjones93 that makes me jelaous!!!

  • my favourite queen song was Bohemian rhapsody amazing to think it almost never made it out considering its one of their most famous songs anyway i digress this is now my favourite queen song I've played it was to much recently O.O

  • SHARK!

  • Sid Vicious disliked this

  • queen is without a doubt, the best band ever known to music history

  • @THE1DEBIE2MYERS3SHOW The Beatles? The Rolling Stones? The Who? Led Zeppelin? Jimi Hendrix Experience?

  • @SamBlob ummmm.......... what?

  • @THE1DEBIE2MYERS3SHOW Can Queen actually be said to be better than all these bands?

  • @SamBlob er...... it was a figure of speech...... nothing more....

  • @THE1DEBIE2MYERS3SHOW Oddly enough, it looked like a straightforward statement to me...

  • @SamBlob um.... i didn't mean it that way..... sorry if i offended you or something..... geez......

  • @SamBlob what is your problem? There are people who think Queen are better than all the bands you've listed. Sooooo????? Why are you so surprised?

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Against what criteria? What evidence is there to back up such a statement?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn You've got that wrong. It is the maker of the statement who is to defend it. No objective evidence has been presented to back up the claim and, when made subjectively, such statements just make the person making the statement look like an idiot.

  • @SamBlob Wow, smells like philosophy! No, it doesn’t make you look like an idiot. It makes you look like someone who has just given his/her opinion about something. Are you an idiot for giving your opinion? The world must be really full of idiots. But…. your problem after all is???????

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn "But…. your problem after all is??????? "

People making statements they can't back up. Stupid practice. Dishonest, too.

  • @SamBlob Ok. I can back up my statement. That means I'm no idiot! Right?

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn What with?

  • @SamBlob Well, let's see. First off, a band more versatile than Queen is yet to be born. They did rock, pop, hard rock, heavy metal, funk, gospel, opera, rock n roll, blues, jazz..... Second, they were true inovators, the real "inventor" of the tape technic was Brian May, not Van Halen, they werr also pioners on using the studio, their album A Night At The Opera explored the whole studio, it was the most expensive by the time it came out. They're the best live thing ever. I can go on.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn youre right about queen

    they are inventor s

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn

Yes, there are only a few bands which can keep up with Queen, such as Dream Theater, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin

  • @MrCookie31c Hey check out Rishloo if you like all those bands. song... In the garden of the sun is a good start!!!

  • @MrCookie31c

yet none is as musically great and sophisticated as queen...

  • @MrCookie31c I'm sorry but I don't think those bands can keep up with Queen, especially Dream Teather.

  • @TheJumpyPopcorn Hmm, why not? Dream Theater is extremely versatile, they are not scared of making 20+ minutes long songs, they also did rock, opera, blues, gospel and they've also used an orchestra for several songs. Additionaly, it's a band of incredible musicians who are greatly respected for their technical skills and musicianship. Seriously, listen to A Change of Seasons, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Octavarium, only three of their songs, and tell me they are not something special.

  • Norman Sheffield blatantly disliked this ;)

  • Thats it, who the fuck disliked the video

  • Drumming around the "Shark" section is epic!

  • C'mon guys, lets hit 50,000 views without a single dislike ;)

  • Just enjoy ...

  • this is so fucking great and genious. this is Queen.

  • In Rhodesia we couldn't buy Queens albums due to the equity ban imposed on us by the british! Well stuff them ! We still found a way of getting the music that we wanted! So guess what! We got the music and now Zimbabwe has mugabe! Well done UK!

  • This one kicks some serious ass!! always loved it!

..and no dislikes, so far.. hope it will remain pristine for a long time

  • This song and Bohemian Rhapsody are the best ones in the album

  • Who would dislike Queen? Who could?

  • @diavarezable an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • so many years has been gone.....now this song is amazing.....just love it !

  • 0 dislikes, 42,00 views. congratulation, people.

  • queen , un des meilleur groupe de l'époque 70-80 !

  • @jls49dailymotion Pas seleument des année 70-80,mais de 2011 aussi(pour les gens intelligents seleument)!

  • hmm... i'm the only one to post a comment like this, so nobody's gonna appreciate my opinion. but the line about suicide stops me from sympathizing with this song.

  • @theluckyfr0g c'mon, you can't be put off by that one single line..

Besides, Queen have written both "Don't Try Suicide" (The Game) and "Keep Passing The Open Windows" (The Works) against suicide.

  • @mitunmitena

i know. i'm not saying they meant it even in this case. i love queen-- besides, i can't think of any band who doesn't have a questionable song. death on two legs was to show how pissed off they were and it served that purpose, but i don't really like listening to it.

  • @theluckyfr0g the melody on its own is pretty insane, forgetting the lyrics.

  • best band ever

  • They were influenced by the barber shop quartets

  • Death on two legs is the dementors on Harry Potter!

  • @RainbowAlchemy Seems like a lot of music these days are about dementors, have u seen the "jar of hearts" music video with Christina Perri? ;)

  • I could be wrong but I heard this song was about a former manager who they fired shortly after "Sheer Heart Attack" that screwed them out of alot of money!

  • @ACETYGRA You're correct. It was about their former management who took all the profits and gave them nothing. Despite being pretty successful by the time they came to start A Night At the Opera The band was skint!

This probably isn't the first time Freddie had a go at the management either. Take a look at the lyrics of Flick Of the Wrist from Sheer Heart Attack and you'll see the same sentiments coming through.

  • No thumbs down for almost 4 minutes of cursing? Now if that isn't a celebration of Freddie's genius I don't know what is.

  • A Nigh At The Opera makes something in me, i like EVERY song in this CD.

Queen is incredible, 169 thumbs up, 0 thumbs down.

  • If I were to choose five favorite albums, they would (in no particular order) be:

A Night At The Opera - Queen

Appetite For Destruction - Guns N Roses

    Foxtrot - Genesis

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway 1&2 - Genesis

    Van Halen - Van Halen

  • i dont like queen but this song is epic

  • When I was in middle school, I fantasized cracking one of my bullies over the head, locking him in a room, tying him to a bed, putting my headphones on him, hooking them up to my discman, and playing this song at full blast. Sadly, my fantasy never came true.

  • I have this album on its original record. My most prized possession...

  • I'm just waiting for a guy to go "Dedicated to my ex-wife."

  • This was pretty much a musical hate letter to the Ex-Manager Norman Sheffield.

  • I'd give my arm to have that sound of guitar... but then I couldn't play... so I have just to listen :-)

  • Dedicated to my ex wife

  • Masterpiece!

  • heathen does this song much better

  • best Queen song ever

  • the intro piano is sheer genius

  • Just wonderful <3

  • the most underrated song of all-time.

  • 75 likes 0 dislikes... epic

  • I love this guitar distortion...... pure tube sound

  • Creationists = fools of the First Division. Hope they get the championship.

  • i hereby dedicate this song to my boss....asshole.

  • What to do if you're really pissed at somebody:

    1. Get in the car

    2. Crank this song

    3. Go to their house

    4. Tell them how much you hate them after gaining the courage from this amazing masterpiece..

  • it feels like someones punching me with words & music. awesome, and your right about obama. i will never forget pearls before swine metephore.

obama elephant: i think you should give the crocs a hand

    israel zebra: with what?

OE: no, i mean give 'em one of your hands

IZ: and then what? what if that doesnt work? give 'em my legs? MAYBE MY HEAD?

OE: its like youre reading my notes

  • @littlenannybot

i've never seen an obama elephant it was a cop elephant and the zebra was a zebra

pearls before swine is not a political cartoon

    metaphor*

  • badass song, great guitar tone, love the interlocking melodies

  • this has gotta b 1 of my favourite Queen songs ever

  • This is for all the women who heartlessly put me through hell.

  • Dear Obama,

    This song is about you.

    Love,

    America

  • @jahchild1904 i like obama

    sincerely

    a rational person

  • @jahchild1904 I'm pretty sure this song is about a nasty old man that Freddie knew. Not Barack Obama.

  • @jojoevilllama

it was about their first manager i think

  • @71garron I think so too. In a live performance, Freddie introduces the song as "about a nasty old man that I used to know."

  • Dear Obama,

    This song's all about you.

    Love,

    America

  • Dedicated to the dick who dumped five senior staff during the same week he hire a new "assistant".

  • feel like someone is slappin me when i hear it

  • @nsskiwi1 like it rough? haha

  • this is about love, as most songs are.

    and I love it.

best way to get rid of rats.

  • i feel hate and no hes talkin bout his managers

  • @lacrossechamp2656 one manager actually

a guy named sheppfield or some such

  • Gee..Are they speaking of LAWYERS?

  • theyre speaking about their first manager

  • freddie was a great vocalist as well as a pianist.

  • The best of the best song...

  • it's a shame this song isn't on their greatest hits CDs because is one of their best.

  • It's called "greatest Hits" for a reason. I wouldn't mind a "Greatest Songs" album though.

  • very crutial analysis. =)

  • @Seroster i dont think that they can fit that many songs on one CD :)

  • BEST SONG EVER!

  • sorry Krelus pressed the wrong thumb :S

  • your so wrong.. big time11

  • yeah this one rates especially as most of us have probably had a boss or partner like this!

  • This is a bad-ass song.

    That is all.

  • 'A Night at the Opera' is the one of the most under rated rock albums of all time, and this is the epic opening track that would have been without question a world wide smash had they released it.

  • @KenfromDublin

Hell yeah! Bohemian Rhapsody is totally "underrated"! Nobody has ever heard of it, right? "I'm in Love With my Car," "You're my Best Friend" and "Prophet Song" are so obscure!

  • @KenfromDublin i ACTUALLY THINK iNNUENDO IS

  • @KenfromDublin 'A Night at the Opera' is not underrated

  • @superviewer No. 230 in the top 500 albums of all time in a Rolling Stone poll is for me underrated, it should be in the top 10, maybe even top 5.

  • the first track on "a night at the opera".the best album by the best band in the world!

  • ace
