  • The upsurge in the quantity and quality of guitarists in Irish music over the last twenty years has been remarkable, in most cases greatly enhancing the music encompassed here by Tim who with Arty McGlynn, Steve Cooney and Jim Murray and a few more are a cut above the very good standard. On a 'bum' note though I do think that there are some otherwise very good guitarists who should concentrate more on integration, NOT domination when playing irish traditional music.
