One questionable decision shouldn't be enough to kill an overall good candidate. I would want to hear his explanation of the decision before I pass judgement. While I'm very strongly pro-immigration law enforcement, I'm not sure that there is one good, hard-and-fast Republican solution at this point, and so I think there should be some flexibility for different Republicans to have nuanced positions.
