  • the origi, nal song is titled: SONCCOYMAN, a tradiconal peruvian music in yaravi rithm,is frome cusco - peru, you can wacht in youtube, SONCCOYMAN, this version and this group is not good, very very ugly,so bad,.

  • I love these videos they are great to watch Lonewolf4540

  • aarrrg! wanted to hear that bass pan flute..

  • I think that those instruments are from the Andes in Latinamerica. I bet that those big panpipes are "toyos", wich are the largest of the "zampoña" flutes, and that the flutes are quenas... I don't know if those instruments are played in Guatemala, but this could be from Perú... but the don't use feathers...

This week I heard a similar group, here where I live, playing "El Condor Pasa"... and it made me think... is the "Condor Pasa" from North America? ... :)

  • You are totally right about the instruments and El Condor Pasa IS from the Andes of South America, although there is an argument as to whether its from Peru Bolivia Ecuador or Chile.

These men are Andean, probably from Ecuador, at least the two men playing toyo on the right are ecuadorian (They play their zampoñas with the long tubes on the left.) They are not North American Indians, thats just a gimmick. However I still think that the music is very pretty and the musicains are talented. :)

  • it's So Cultural!!

  • el muerte peluda

  • hey theres a group that do this in glasgow and they play this exact song.

  • SO CULTURAL! *buys CD*

  • que feo tocan estos individuos

  • Very cultural

  • um this is a native american flute band. you do know that right? the regalia and the name kindof sums it all up. Not a pan flute band.

  • Actually these guys are pantomiming. They're not even playing their music or singing. This is pan flute music. It's a bit of an epidemic. Peruvian and Guatemalan flute bands dressing up in North America "Native Style" clothing (notice the fake feathers, etc) and tricking crowds into believing they're Native North Americans because it sells more CD's. Kind of a shame...Natives ripping off Natives. No such thing as a Native American flute band.

  • um...you may want to rename this cause this is not a pan flute band..the name the cheerokee spirit kindof just sums it all up that the flute band is native american. i just had to point that out to you. you can also tell by the regalia they were wearing. so next time make sure that your information is correct cause we dont like to be called peruvian pan flute bands.

  • I think Kenny likes it

  • ITS SO CULTURAL

  • Oh, the good old days, before the goverment came and send all the peruvian pan flute bands to guantanamo...

  • did that really happen or is it just south park.....Le muerte peluda

  • it really happened, along with giant hamsters attacking cities
