Great review here! I am considering it and wanted to judge its ease of operation, etc. I am already learning more here than from many other website reviews I've just seen, including the Asus website itself. Excellent review you two. The cost alone weighed against the ease of actually taking it out and about makes it a good deal. Quiet, Flash memory, 4-6 hour battery life, all good.

I think that the EEE Pc is like Linux for Children! it really simplify's a lot of your standard computing crap! such as providing a mini interface for loading apps. however, i have an old 2002 Toshiba running linux which has more power than the current EEE Pc.

Truely it depends, if you want a PC that provides ease of use for day to day common tasks (Homework, Youtube, etc.,) then eee pc is perfect, but anything else, and you may just want to kick it up to a windows pc
