This car was sold to an american TV-network in late -80's erly -90's to be the "Star" in a TV show. When they bought it it was repainted (werry dark green or black I don't remember) and in the second shoot at the series it was destroyd so this Pink lady is crusing around in Lowrider heawen... RIP "Pinkie" Although this car set the bar in Swedish custom car scene and it's legacy still lives on...

That's Pink Lady, built by a Swede named Bernt Karlsson, a really good painter with absolutely wretched taste (at least at that point). He later made his mark doing these El Camino things out of fourth-gen Camaros. He was one of Boyd Coddington's go-to painters.

In its defense, there are some really innovative things on that car like pneumatic spheres (Citroen) in the hydraulic system--basically nitrogen-filled air springs. Hey, how can you knock a car with a Betamax in it? ;)

This car was built by Bernt Karlsson from sweden. He started building it in the 70's. It's called The Pink Lady. Search on Bernt Karlssson and for another video. Like eimajecnerwal(?) wrote "it's got 1970's written all over it" I couldm't agree more. And I like it.
