@NayLaBaddass4 Hey! Thanks. No, Blackra1n was made by GeoHot and redsn0w is by the iPhoneDevTeam. The reason why it said ASL.dll was missing is because you dont have the right permissions. A lot of people had this problem. You needed to put the application insode of the iTunes folder in the system somewhere. But anyway, I'm glad that this worked well. Thanks, George

@George3694 I'm on 4.3.1, but it's still asking me to browse for IPSW. Should I download the firmware in the link aswell?

@Marcopolo10001 Hey! Yes you will need to do that. You will be able to find the ipsw file on your computer already if it was downloaded through iTunes but I can't tell you where it is unfortunately, I've forgotten. Have a look in system files under iTunes. It would probably be easier to just download it from the link in the description though yes. Thanks George.

This looks good, and I probably will use it, but I have two questions: Will it be UNtethered for iPod Touch 3rd gen? And also what happens if I want to update the iPod iOS firmware after jailbreaking?

@Marcopolo10001 Yes, it will be untethered for all devices. If you want to update then you will loose the jailbreak unfortunately. You will need to wait until the new jailbreak comes out for that new firmware. It's like a 'cat and mouse game'. The jailbreaks are always released a little after the release of the new update. @H8trzNv Untethered means that the device will run without the aid of a computer when needed. Tethered means that when you turn it off, you won't be able to turn it back on again without a computer. That's all. This is untethered so it's a good jailbreak. George
