  • aNYONE HAVE A jURASSIC pARK THAT THEY WANT TO SELL?

  • Comment removed

  • im a huge fan of both jurassic park and pinball...

so this is just perfect, how much is the price for such a machine?

  • I was a massive JP fan and a little bias but I still think this was a very nice pinball game overall.

  • The last time i played this was in 2007. My record was around 175 Million.

  • I bought this game two days ago, and are having a lot of fun with it.

  • gotta love pinball machines....especially jurasic park ones!

  • Man if I had one of these and Sega Rally, I'd be the happiest guy in the world.

  • I've own one as well....but the settings and scores dont save when turned off?? wondering if you know a fix. The AA batteries behind the back glass arent the problem, already checked.

  • the scores should only be deleted if you turn it off at the plug. if you turn it off by the switch underneath the unit it should save.

  • @Shanalz

i know it should but it doesnt save, i dont get it.

  • i own one, just like you, it's an awesome game, I gotten Chaos, and an extra ball but i never got System Failure (a jackpot mode after you complete all missions) nor a high score :(

  • You have some serious balls

  • flipper problem is fixed now. It was some wires under the playfield that were making an interference. Now I have another problem. The solenoid is not popping the ball back up from underneath the playfield when the ball goes in the power shed or when t-rex eats the ball. I checked the connections and they seem to be good. I put the playfield up,looked at it and then lowered the playfield and it worked mabey 2 more times then stopped working. You can't even hear it trying to pop the ball back up!!

  • Even though you checked the connections, that sounds like a dry joint on the coil - try reflowing the solder on the tabs anyway.

  • I have a question. I just bought jurassic park last week and the left flipper is acting up. I hit the flipper button and the flipper gets "stuck in the up position and makes a constant motorized noise. When the ball drains the noise stops and the flipper returns to the normal position. Any idea what this could be?

  • It's likely the end-of-stroke switch which needs replacing. This keeps the flipper actuator from burning up.

  • this was the best Data East pinball game of all time, and they had plenty of duds but this one was and is a classic!

  • best pinball ever, for one of the best movies ever! i wish i owned this...

  • The best pinball machine I ever played. I went to the local arcade, Aladdin's Castle, and played it nearly every day. I eventually got to the #1 spot on the highscores and was there until the place shut down last year, which at that time I purchased this and Area 51. The machine was about 800 dollars, a real steal but it was in bad condition until I fixed it up, and Area 51 was a bit more pricey. It did come with Time Crisis guns instead of the normal ones after all.

  • Same here, I used to go to this place called Star Land and it would be pretty much the only pinball machine I played. If only I had the money to buy one for my house..

  • I usually keep my cabinets and stuff shut off until I want to play them, since they would just be building up electric bill if they were on 24-7. But boy is it fun to have the machine in my house.

  • What is your highest score?

I too own this machine & my best was 1.2 or 1.4 billion (cant quite recall exactly) & it was all thanks to just the right mixture of redbull & vodka as I have yet to recreate it again.

I have heard of 5bil+ online, wow.

FYI: High scores reset on their own unless you change that option in the diagnostic mode. I learned the hard way & have no way to back up my billion score claim.

    Later

  • I've yet to have a satisfying game on it actually, and have been playing TZ more recently. My highest is about 650-700 mil I think, so your 1.2/1.4 is really impressive.

Strangely as I play more pinball and more different machines my skill level seems to fall :)

Got it setup to save high scores as you say, but had just updated the ROMS to a later version so no way to keep them AFAIK.

  • @papatab777 Tahts bullshit I just spent 2 minutes with the top off putt and throwing the ball in every place it needed to go to get a mega score and didnt crack 1 billion.. throw in to the mix the un controllable straight down the middle loss of a ball there is no way your telling the truth.. sorry man

  • @papatab777 Thats bullshit I just spent 20 minutes with the top off putting and throwing the ball in every place it needed to go to get a mega score and didnt crack 1 billion.. throw in to the mix the uncontrollable straight down the middle loss of a ball there is no way youre telling the truth.. sorry man

  • @WorkemailCB did you get the 600 mil jackpot in this test? :P

  • I used to love this game, you had a pretty good game going!
