love the guitar, the gold truss rod cover looks really good.

love the tone of your highs, but the lows are lacking bass, maybe turn the tone knob don slightly. i have a sheraton and turning down the tone knob usually gives me the best tone :) mellow/old strings are also great for tone, esspecially on the 6th string :)

Other than lucking into some rare garage or basement find of an original Gibson, the Epi Lucille is an excellent guitar in the under a grand category.

It doesn't have the singing tone of a real Lucille, but it is darn close.

man, i don't reckon a neck could get any thicker than a sheraton. i got a sheraton after using a telecaster and a jackson atx (same shape as the dinky... super strat) and man, it felt like switching from a twig to a tree. im still not used to it when i switch back and forth haha

I don't care about amp. I play them all, including with transistors, and I just try to find the good sound with the one I play. On this video, I play with a very little amp (10 Watts) I bought 100 $ !!. About my Epiphone Lucille, no problems ever. U were unlucky, I suppose...
