..and by the way..in the Battle of Sigeth fought about 2500 Croats against about 90000 Soldiers of the Ottoman Empire....the Croats almost all die, including Nikola Subic Zrinjski, but they also killed about 30000 Ottoman Soldiers !!!
so guys....this song or march is actually not for Nikola Zrinjski its for the Hero of Szigeth, his great Grandfather Nikola "Subic" Zrinjski, and the song was composed by the Croatian composer Ivan Zajc, it is the final song from his opera called "Zrinjski" (yes..ZriNJski..not Zrinski).....
Zrínyi is a Croatian-Hungarian hero. He was a great military leader, politician, poet and writer. He understood the geopolitical situation of the "Central-European" Monarchy, but his plans on a common Christian Coalition campaign against the Ottoman Empire was out of the Austrian interests in the mid 17th century...
He as an icon of our history is a connection between Hungarians and Croatians.
The style of playing of the pre-war bands - not least the hungarian - is so absolutely " to the point". They know exactly what they are doing through tutoring and experience, Nothing that is played to-day can match these old recordings. Thank you!
As I recognized the mentioned "to the point" style or tone is a characteristic of the Hungarian military music. For example: Szent László march, József nádor march, Rákóczi march, ..., ...

Zrínyi's patriotism is acceptable for Hungarians and also Slavic or other kind of peoples in the Carpatian/Pannonian-Basin.

Nem a leg jobb felvétel,de legalább nincs átírva,és áthangszerelve. Az egyik olyan indulónk,amelyben kemény basszusszólam van!
