I hate how Chinese people use English words in between Chinese sentences to express their idea as if there isn't a word in the Chinese language that could suffice.

If you are being taught in two languages in school I think it's kind of normal to speak this way. When people talk they just spill whatever comes up to their mind at that moment - if that word serves the purpose, why should they force themselves to change their wording? If someone should be blamed for this, blame British then.

i saw the movie at bc last night. i love it. but it's also very sad and profound. looking forward to the release of dvd.

there are many missing pieces though. i wonder what role KJ's mother played in all this and why Miss Lo didn't like KJ. and i wish KJ could smile again like when he was 11.

I live in Colorado in the US. My dear Chinese friend sent me the link to this trailer...and it didn't matter a bit to me that I don't understand Cantonese.

This young man represents a shift in consciousness that is happening throughout the world. Please don't mistake his depth of sensitivity and feeling as depression. It is the salvation of all of us as human beings, instead of continuing as the automatons many of us have become.

About additional screenings, we are really not sure. It all depends on Broadway Cinema. Yet, I just checked the online ticketing, the screenings on Ang 20 and 21 at Broadway Cinematheque still have some nice seats. Also, the one at AMC Festival Walk on Aug 21 has few not-too-bad seats, too.
