  • Thank You

  • 0:55

  • Serious question, will these put any size on you or are they better for toning?

  • @jaydol85 size my friend this will make you bigger it is similar to what the cast of 300 did in order to gain that insanse look

  • @TheSOAD05

im a very strong man, how much resistance can you generate with these bands, i mean the highest they go are the black ones and they are a mere 23 pounds? lol? i just cant see them replacing compound movements like barbell squats and power deadlifts, but see some usefulness for small muscle groups but not thighs or lats.

  • @PattyCakesahoy i agree with you BUT! (check out power systems dot com) that type of workout requires a different kind of resistance band called a strength band with these you can do clean and press, full snatch, deadlifts up to i think 200lbs of resistance....they're used by wrestlers to simulate those olympic lifts...i thought the same thing then juss googled everything hahahah

  • @PattyCakesahoy ok i take it back...looked at more videos online and bodylastic's bands have an internal core like nylon structure that aids in preventing it from snapping, that being said, i experimented with it and yea i managed a clean and press, full snatch, and overhead press...on the website they kinda have 2 workouts mixed up. Stiff legged deadlift is a good morning and vice versa i'm sure its just an error but deff check em out man bodylastics juss got and love em!

  • @bengracia1

I finally got a set of these bands off amazon, and they are pretty good for a few exercises its still very awkward doing any type of heavy leg exercises or presses, but for arm exercises and a few shoulder movements they seem to be just as good as free weights, i don't think it can rival free weights as a replacement but they work very well in conjuction with them.

  • dolph lundgren?

  • I'm going to try this workout, but since I haven't worked out in such a long time, I'm going to try just 10 reps per exercise at first, and slowly move to 30 reps per exercise. I'm 40 years old and 190 lbs at 5'5".

  • Is this a full body workout.

  • I would go free weight and just normal calisthenics over this anyday

  • @BrocK2026 don't knock it till you tried it!

Bands are incredible, they just look like a joke until you actually experience one physically.

  • what I wanna know is . when you use the weight on it say 200lbs is it gonna be 200 lbs or is it gonna feel like 45 lb . all of the workouts you see people doing with it look like jane fonda aerobics . they do lil lite weight workouts. and I personally do not want an aerobics bunny work out. I take my training very fucking serious .

thats why I'm asking if anyone owns these can you give me more information on them

  • @cactus9889 This may be a little late but I have the Terrell Owens set of Bodylastics and I can tell u that when the elastic say's that you lift 200 lbs, you really lift 200 lbs but there is one thing you should know. In this video the guy is demonstrating with light elastics to easily hold his position. When you do the exercise from 1:03 with heavy elastics, it will be very hard to hold you perfect position and to not slip away because of the hugh pull of the elastic. Hope that helps you out.

  • @cactus9889 Im 39 and have alot natural strength and power with free weights. I was a skeptic at first;however, the bodylastics gave me an amazing pump and forced alot of secondary muscle to be used to keep up with the bands.

  • can these realy increase my bicep size ?

  • @cerlenox in conjunction with free weights and barbells etc (and chinups of course) but these are excellent for pumping, defining and warmin up.. as well as the different science behind using them (constant tension compared to weights)

  • Some awesome routines seen here. I still like free weights better, but I've been using elastics for awhile now with good results.

  • i've been using these bands for a year mixed with heavy weights. I Bench Press with Dumbbells only. Before Bodylastic, I was pushing 60lbs bells in each hand for 3 sets of 10. After mixing in the Bands at home, I started swinging 80-90lb bells in each hand for chest press.. I thank the bands for that. I was stuck using 60's for a while. BODYLASTIC helped me big time.. I recommend it and I use it with clients to train now and they love it.. I have the T.O. band set.. AWESOME STUFF..

  • You big scam. They payed u 2 write that crap

  • Cool ... I have 2 sets of your bands, love 'em!

  • nice workout

  • and do you do the same routine over are is there something else

  • if you can do this twice in a row without stopping you don't need this type of training. you need about one million Persians to exterminate like the movie. this routine is so hard. i been using bodylastics since june 2009 and i can't get anywhere near perfect on this routine

  • I havent tried it yet. Is the difficulty the insane amount or reps or the short rests between sets? I have bands (not bodylastics) ranging from very light to very thick. Was hoping to give this a try!

  • I was thinking about getting Versa-Tube. They're cheaper than bodylastics. Which ones are you using, and how well do they work? vjm007

  • i think he asked weather you do a different workout the next day and interchange or if you do the same workout everyday
