Didn't Budweiser sell out to a German company or something? please correct me if im wrong, im not old enough to drink so I don't really pay attention to that stuff, just curious
Having lived in the northeast and the deep south I can appreciate how great this is. I see that one of the heavyweights involved with "The Sopranos" Allen Coulter directed this. Nice.
got no words... just a lot of laughin'!!!! ))))))) especially when i saw the bartenders face... )))))))) GREAT commercial, but to undestand it's sense you have to watch the first part. SUPER!!!
Who has a "mafia reputation"? You're assuming if someone is speaking in a Northeast, Italian-American vernacular that they're somehow involved in organized crime. Fuck off.

oh come on man,, not only they speak but look like mafia .. and seriously I believe being a mafia is a great honor and pride for Italian American people.... People will started to give you respect as they know you are Italian
The truly funny thing is, the character of the talkative Texan is based on the director of the commercials. He had also directed episodes of The Sopranos, and was selected for these commercials based on that experience. The creative team enjoyed the counterpoint of the 'Nice Guy from Texas' with the 'Jersey Guys' so they wrote him in to the follow up, where he got to direct an actor playing a character based on himself. And he is truly a 'nice guy,' who has moved on to feature work.
Still funny!

@Amar7605, I wonder if his brother-in-law who picked him up at the airport rigged the auditions for the commercial so that he could get the spot.

Pure poetry. Must've gotten a CLIO for this, no? Another reason for Youtube's value as a time capsule you don't have to dig up in 100 years.

Never thought of it like that. You're so right, Youtube truly is a time capsule.
