What is the deal with these Cedar Point videos? I notice that these on-ride videos do not only have no riders on the ride, they are also very old. This one must be back to 1984, because if you look at it, none of the newer rides are there. The Ferris wheel was relocated 10 years ago, to make room for M-force, also there is no Mantis in the video.

Why post an old video? I don't get that.

Smoothest ride in the world... Wish they could of made it faster at some parts, but not a big deal... When you go down a drop or turn you tense up waiting for the pain but this ride really surprises you being so smooth... can't wait to go on again tis August

this ride was closed when i vacationed to cedar point. same, cuz i love these types of coasters. they provide their own personal thrill none of the much bigger coasters can.

When we went on here, we made our friend cry, we said some kid whacked his head of the ride on a turn, and when we went on we said its coming up where the kid hit his head off it, he went bazerck, then my friend acted lie he hit his head, and we had fake blood, it was sooo crazy

Sandusky, OH (WWJ) -- A close call for some riders at Cedar Point.

A spokesman for the theme park told WWJ that a car on the Wild Cat ride suffered what's known as a "roll back," meaning the car didn't make it up the initial hill on the track Friday night--and rolled back down, slamming into some other cars.

Yeah, they are a bit harsh. Why all the brake trims throughout the ride though. I have ridden a wildcat before in the UK, and it did not have all those trims. It flew through the course !!

They are there so there can be more cars running on track. Those are called Block Brakes and after a car has passed through that brake they can send another car. It's just a safety precaution.

This ride can hurt if you're not prepared for it, like assuming that its a kiddie ride just because its small. If you take it serious like any big coaster you'll be fine! The speed and G-forces on this thing are amazing for its size!

Ahh, yes. The Wildcat. The best part of this ride is the great whiplash you get when it slams on the brakes at the very end. You can see in the video how un-gracefully this thing stops. I rode it once when I was twelve, and never again.
