  • Very nice. I like your way you emphasize the words. When you get a chance please check out my monologues.

  • The first one was alright, but if I may offer some advice on the second one? I feel like you could have done SO much more with it! It's such a fun piece! The great thing about Shakespeare is that you can make it a bit contemporary and get away with it. For example, the line "sell when you can...markets", you could do it sotto vocce and maybe add an exaggerated wink. You're really telling the girl off in this scene. Show us that!!! Accent is lovely :)

  • that was beautiful! good job!

now if you want to see us butcher one of juliet’s monologues, watch “the spit show with indus & raquel"

  • i love ur eyes they just draw me in.... i loved it..... i moved from ny 2 bakersfield ca to become an actor..... its my dream 2.... can u check my out? i have one from american beauty and the joker....let me know honestly what u think

  • okay that was seriously amazing! it wasnt weirrd and it wasnt like u can tell shes acting. it was as if she was the person! i mean its amazing!

  • that was amazing! i loved it! i am an actress making my way up the ladder and need more expression in my voice, this will realy help me! thank you!

  • I love how you've emphasized the parts where they would best fit and your expressions conveyed so much along with the words I fell simply in love with Luciana in that first part. Thank you so much!

  • as i commented on your other video....this video is amazing too..you are really an amazing actor....ur expressions for each moment...were way tooo good!

  • really great monologues wonderful facial expressions and intonation

  • Hey, can I ask you if you are a trained actress and if so, where did you get trained?

  • this is great... it really helped me memorize my monologue!!! thank u!!!

  • your good.

  • finally!!! a british person doing a monologue on here!!! lol

  • you should have shot this straight to camera, one profile gets boring. the whole speech generally needs more dynamic,as in, the colour and rhythm of your voice stay on the same level for too long, however I do think you understand the speech well and your thought process was more or less spot on.

  • thx 4 this. im readin shakespeare monos 4 my drama club nd these helped buckets :)

  • thank you very much!!!! <3

i'm currently researching shakespearean acting and monologues because i have to do an audition piece to get into acting in VANARTS (vancouver institute of media arts). the acting in this one is done extremely well and it has helped me a lot in my studies and practice of shakespearean acting.

    thank you once more.

  • ah you helped me a lot..i have to memorize the rosalind one for my drama class..

    thanks:)

  • hi i have to do a two minute classical piece for an audition to get into a drama school and i have never done anything like it i wonder you might sugest a piece for some one with no background at all in classical theatre im a guy btw and whoever this is i like :) soo yea if you have a sugestion thanks

  • hiya i have to do drama school auditions for college as a sort of prep for universtiy and im now sure which monologues to do i need a shakespeare and a modern your mum is really amazing at these monologues! :)

  • My mum says thanks! =]]

Um, i'm thinking Roasalind's speech- Romeo and Juliet- or the speech of Cleopatra for the Shakespeare one and then for modern, maybe go for something from Alan Ayckbourn... good luck and i hope i've helped...

    xx

  • I like that the words are grounded in you.

  • Um... she says thanks... that's my mum...

    xx

  • Hi, I am auditioning for "Twelfth Night" and I was wondering what you would suggest as two adequate contrasting monologues. . .I am a female. Thanks so much!!

  • POssibly a speech from Hermia in A Midsummer Night's dream- nearer the beginning though- and maybe something from Cleopatra when she gives the speech about the asp... both Shakespeare.

  • amazing love x

  • i liked these monologues a lot. i am doing a project in drama and i was having trouble picking a good monologue and this helped alot! :)

  • Im glad it helped too!

I live with this woman and it's amazing to be in her presence!
