The first one was alright, but if I may offer some advice on the second one? I feel like you could have done SO much more with it! It's such a fun piece! The great thing about Shakespeare is that you can make it a bit contemporary and get away with it. For example, the line "sell when you can...markets", you could do it sotto vocce and maybe add an exaggerated wink. You're really telling the girl off in this scene. Show us that!!! Accent is lovely :)
i love ur eyes they just draw me in.... i loved it..... i moved from ny 2 bakersfield ca to become an actor..... its my dream 2.... can u check my out? i have one from american beauty and the joker....let me know honestly what u think
I love how you've emphasized the parts where they would best fit and your expressions conveyed so much along with the words I fell simply in love with Luciana in that first part. Thank you so much!
as i commented on your other video....this video is amazing too..you are really an amazing actor....ur expressions for each moment...were way tooo good!
you should have shot this straight to camera, one profile gets boring. the whole speech generally needs more dynamic,as in, the colour and rhythm of your voice stay on the same level for too long, however I do think you understand the speech well and your thought process was more or less spot on.
i'm currently researching shakespearean acting and monologues because i have to do an audition piece to get into acting in VANARTS (vancouver institute of media arts). the acting in this one is done extremely well and it has helped me a lot in my studies and practice of shakespearean acting.
hi i have to do a two minute classical piece for an audition to get into a drama school and i have never done anything like it i wonder you might sugest a piece for some one with no background at all in classical theatre im a guy btw and whoever this is i like :) soo yea if you have a sugestion thanks
hiya i have to do drama school auditions for college as a sort of prep for universtiy and im now sure which monologues to do i need a shakespeare and a modern your mum is really amazing at these monologues! :)
Um, i'm thinking Roasalind's speech- Romeo and Juliet- or the speech of Cleopatra for the Shakespeare one and then for modern, maybe go for something from Alan Ayckbourn... good luck and i hope i've helped...
Hi, I am auditioning for "Twelfth Night" and I was wondering what you would suggest as two adequate contrasting monologues. . .I am a female. Thanks so much!!
POssibly a speech from Hermia in A Midsummer Night's dream- nearer the beginning though- and maybe something from Cleopatra when she gives the speech about the asp... both Shakespeare.
Very nice. I like your way you emphasize the words. When you get a chance please check out my monologues.
