Great playing, but at the very beginning the oboes and brass sound really sharp to my ear.... is it just me?

need control on the C though (always a bad note on the oboe)

the horns screwed it up horribly for the oboe at the beginning, they were the ones seriously out of tune.

You need a better orchestra. Seriously, you tried to drown the orchestra, then tried to blend and do it properly; much better. Your performance in isolation is superb; need more work with a GOOD orchestra to bring out your good qualities.

Nice interpretation of the cadenza; I like the marcato-style playing of the chordal passages. I am working on this concerto myself right now - takes quite a bit of time to bring out ALL of Schumann's personality in the work. Congrats on your performance.

(Though towards the end of the piece, the cresc. of the orch./piano could build more.). Thanks for playing!
