There is also the thought that dark matter must be out there&there is like 90% of it out there.I think they'll discover that the reason that gravity seems so weak is that it's only the smaller part of what will someday be called 'Actual gravity',&the solar system type view of it will be considered 'planetary' or weak gravity.

haha this takes billions and billions of years to happen, the life within these galaxies all have very slim chances of being affected in anyway by the collision. The life of alien races will exist and become extinct during, before, and after and will feel no effects from the collision. There's no need to feel sorry for any other life forms in those galaxies.
@sakitakono Shows how much you know about astronomy. You watch too many special effects star movies my friend. If we were colliding now with the Andromeda galaxy it would be a spectacular view in the night sky..., non moving. The same sight prehistoric man would have seen unchanged. And long after the human race is gone the view would still be the same.
If I ha dto use only the information that this vid give. It sound like even tho stars would rarely collide they are pulled and distorted away by the passing galaxy. So I assume that any planets rotating a star would all so be affected. Meaning that they could get pulled out of the solar systems habitable zone and destroy any life on the planet. This is what I meant by I feel sorry for any life on tho's galaxy's. I did realize I needed to dumb it down and
@sakitakono Take it easy surfer. Start reading and studying about the universe and how it works. That way you don't have to assume...., you'll learn and know. Next!
I could be wrong on the time factor but Andromeda will collide with Milky Way some time in the far future, the show I watched said it will be a sight to see, Andromeda will fill the sky
Thanks for the video!

Woah, that is so interesting. is the milkyway close enough to any other galaxy which we could merge with?

Yes we will collide with Andromeda Galaxy in a million year or so.
