What I like most is the original version APO Hiking Society Danny Javier. The melody is great. "Tagos hangang puso" ika nga. The version of Nestle seems melodic rock to me. Listen to APO and compare you will know what i'm pointing at. I've been listening this song since the 80's. Kudo's to Nestle for bringing back this song for this generation.
