@sublimerule You either have Biorr die somehow (he died failing to take out the dragon for me) or get the world tendency event for 1-1 and you can find the armor at the bottom of the stairwell. The wiki explains it better than I can. Just search for "Brushwood Armor"
@EastDutchYGO lol I haven't been able to kill him yet. I've been grinding souls. I start 1-4 and play until the dragon bridge and get 14000ish souls then cast evacuate out and repeat.I need about 45000 for a level now. Is there a better place to grind?

@DarkAvengerHoly Wear flame resistant Equipment (Brushwood Armor Set, Purple Flame Shield, Ring of Flame Resistance) and use Water Veil. That way the dragon won't kill you in one shot. Also follow the timing the maker of this video used, that way you won't even get hit by the fire. The rest are just a precaution.
how come when i went to go fight King Allant, Ostrava wasn't anywhere, like he went missing since I fought the Penetrator and i never got the masoleum key from him. He isn't on the steps or anything and when i fought his phantom he just fell of the side and died... Same thing with Bior, he was shooting at the Blue Dragon, but after i beat King Allant Bior went missing and so did the Blue Dragon, HELLPPPPPP
@MrJasonekos If Ostrava wasn't there, means he has dyied before (easily in the third zone where is attacked by 2 black knight when you open the inferred) and you have lost the key for the playthrough. For the items dropped by the phantom you can retrieve them in the second zone of Latria (use demonsoul.wiki for the way). As for Biorr and the blue dragon, after you have killed false King Allant they are gone for the playthrough and you have no way to other way than New Game + or start a new game
I don't understand how the Dragon didn't start shooting flame over the other half of the bridge as soon as you reached the halfway point; I get past the Dragon, then he just burns my arse and I die...I think you were exceptionally lucky. Also, you have heavier armour than me by the looks of it yet you seem to be running faster. Obviously a later on character? Either way, doesn't really help me at all.
@acrobbo If you look at his health/mana/stamina he's not very high level. As long as your equipment doesn't go over your equip burden you'll be running just as fast as him. Once you go over 50% of your equip burden your roll is slower. Heavier armor gives stamina regeneration penalties as well. The part where you run up the stairs is pretty hard, you have to run in zigzags. The bridge is easy, just get rid of one or more of the Fat Officials and time it right.

I suppose, but in my experience when it comes to heavy shields for high damage mitigation the PFS is great due to its relatively light weight (next to Brushwood and Tower Shield - tower shield is simply too heavy). However in NG+ and beyond I've found that since rolling is such a priority light shields to parry are better.
But I'm a melee character. Usually I run so close and batter the enemy with AMF on. So for me Knight's Shield +10 is the way to go.

if the clearstone is useful for forging, i'm going to need to know if it's worth it to restart because fighting 2 black knights at that time nearly gave me a heart attack... that, and i was lucky enough to get the purple flame shield on my first try when i killed the knight near old king doran's door.
He gives you a pure clearstone, the brass telescope, some dark moon grass, and if you have Pure Black CT and bump off Yurt you can assassinate him for a Talisman of Beasts.

This is the most poorly made i've played the longest. So many glitches, sorry story and worst motivating challenges ever. Not to mention the worst NPC interaction ever since too many NPCs are bound to have an edge over the PC. Worst over rated game ever. @Malsintwit it's a fun game but you are right it's over rated. i'm currently on ng+ and am level 100, i think they could have added more story plot (although the atmosphere is amazing and perfect) and made the difficulty a bit less(at least where you take less damage from hits)

@krausersassassin I think that was his dad. He says "My father is up above." Meaning he's at the top of the stairs. They were just armed in the same way. Ostrava even says he turned into a demon and I think he meant a black phantom.
Dragons should be better made in part 2. Should have a good way to kill them and they should react. Maybe if you shoot them in the eyes.... they fall down down you stab them in the heart. Now that would be cool. Shooting 300 Arrows = stupid and boring.
he's in 1-4. if u remember a part where someone rolls a burning boulder at you, that's the stairway you need to go up, and there's a room on the right, where there's a passage hidden by cabinets. break those and it should lead u to a stairway that takes u to the dregling merchant.

Try 250 arrows. and No you dont gotta let biorr die. as long as you didnt die when you fought Phalanx and the tower knight that will give you pure white. and then you can fight executioner miralda. if you dont do that then you can kill the penetrator and kill it that will give you pure white just dont fight the BPs.
that's something you should get early on in the game, don't remember how exactly. You can use it in areas just past a boss area (just past an archstone). Youll get a message saying looking for a world to invade, then you just wait.
chapter 3-1 tower of latria before the first boss there is a black phantom kill her and u get the black eye stone i had the same problem hope i helped
Umm you got fucking lucky first of all when I run to the area you're in the fucking blue dragon sprays fire there (when you get near the grave archstone and u pick up the iteM)
i had the same problem before but u need a wooden catalyst(a wooden wand) then u equip the catalyst with ur left or right hand and you press L1 if its in ur left hand or R1 if its in your right hope i helped
ya know in the area where this video starts i usually stand atop the little entry way and shoot thecministers with an arrow and lure them into the flames they either die on the way to me or just need one strike to be brought down, it makes it easier to just run across without getting burned or distracted

and if u want to kill the dragon what u can do is at around 1:28 LOCK ON to him and fire arrows. even if u cannot see him u will still do damage, although you need HEAPS of arrows
ya can either get the armor from Biorr when he dies or after ya beat Miralad.. (sp) in a wt or bt in 1-1. The armor is found at the bottom of where ya find her. She's hiding around the corner in a small tower after ya encounter a group of bp dredgelings. This area is beyond the door after the first dredgling ya encounter in 1-1 to your left.
Brushwood can either be found in World 1-1 with pure white tendency after beating Miralda, or by Killing Bior in 1-3. The tower shield can be found by killing the black phantom in the beginning of 1-4, or by finding it near where you first find Bior BEfore going to 1-4 you should definitely beat worlds 2 and up, its considered to many the last level of demons souls.

@Stikasasn 4-1 and 4-2 are pretty good spots for grinding, but they both only give about 4-5k souls if you do it how everyone else does.

Dragons should be better made in part 2. Should have a good way to kill them and they should react. Maybe if you shoot them in the eyes.... they fall down down you stab them in the heart. Now that would be cool. Shooting 300 Arrows = stupid and boring.

he's in 1-4. if u remember a part where someone rolls a burning boulder at you, that's the stairway you need to go up, and there's a room on the right, where there's a passage hidden by cabinets. break those and it should lead u to a stairway that takes u to the dregling merchant.

lols, just got demonbrandt but my character tendency is black :( i dont know why, because nearly all of my world ones are pure white. maybe its because i accidently firestormed blacksmith ed, and sadly had to put him down :D he was a knewb anyways

the first time and second time. the first time you can take down half his health and he will fly to the stairs, second time you must stand in the entrance and auto-lock his head again and kill it

lol...i accidentally killid the guy who gave you the key...i dropped my controller and it landed on r2 and my guy just thrusted forward with the dragon sword +5 and hes dead

Nah they arent very useful. Other weapons can outpace it's damage at lower and more useful requirements. In my opinion of course.

So I was underneath the Dragon at the end and was shooting millions of arrows into him, and then I noticed i got +740 souls and then the Dragon hit me with fire, I scrambled to run towards the stairs but he hit me again. I had my TV muted...what happened? Did my helper guy die?

good video but u must have let biorr of the twing fangs die in order to get the armor. it happens if u dont kill the dragon before biorr die. u kill it with a bow and about 150 arrows

Try 250 arrows. and No you dont gotta let biorr die. as long as you didnt die when you fought Phalanx and the tower knight that will give you pure white. and then you can fight executioner miralda. if you dont do that then you can kill the penetrator and kill it that will give you pure white just dont fight the BPs.

that's something you should get early on in the game, don't remember how exactly. You can use it in areas just past a boss area (just past an archstone). Youll get a message saying looking for a world to invade, then you just wait.

i had the same problem before but u need a wooden catalyst(a wooden wand) then u equip the catalyst with ur left or right hand and you press L1 if its in ur left hand or R1 if its in your right hope i helped

ya know in the area where this video starts i usually stand atop the little entry way and shoot thecministers with an arrow and lure them into the flames they either die on the way to me or just need one strike to be brought down, it makes it easier to just run across without getting burned or distracted

and if u want to kill the dragon what u can do is at around 1:28 LOCK ON to him and fire arrows. even if u cannot see him u will still do damage, although you need HEAPS of arrows

ya can either get the armor from Biorr when he dies or after ya beat Miralad.. (sp) in a wt or bt in 1-1. The armor is found at the bottom of where ya find her. She's hiding around the corner in a small tower after ya encounter a group of bp dredgelings. This area is beyond the door after the first dredgling ya encounter in 1-1 to your left.

Brushwood can either be found in World 1-1 with pure white tendency after beating Miralda, or by Killing Bior in 1-3. The tower shield can be found by killing the black phantom in the beginning of 1-4, or by finding it near where you first find Bior BEfore going to 1-4 you should definitely beat worlds 2 and up, its considered to many the last level of demons souls.
