What the Lord has been showing and revealing to me is not to idolise or set on a pedistol any Pastor but drawl closer and love Jesus with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strenght. Honor our Pastors yes but we must becareful not to put anything, like our churches, or Pastors before the Lord for we who believe and our born again by the Holy Spirit are all the body and church or our blessed Lord Jesus and to Him be all the glory Amen. Good point. There are so many pastors that have been made by man's doctrines in these modern days. They need help, you go to him and tell the Truth if he doesn't want to listen then forgive him and keep preaching the Truth.

Why did Apostle Paul urge his readers to imitate him in his love for Jesus (1cor4:16), and to consider the lifestyle of "godly leaders" and to imitate their faith? (heb13:7)

In this evil generation rampant with heretics, false prophets, thieves and flatterers, why can't we look up on someone who's not walking in the wrong road that modern day pastors are heading? No one is idolizing Paul Washer, we are simply grateful and thankful to God that there is a man like him left in this world.

There is something seriously wrong with this picture. Why doesn't he flat out say stop idolizing ME. I'm a mere servant Christ. What happened to humility? Why does he call people "sheep"? We are the LORD's sheep. Jesus is our shepard. I've seen men like this before. They remind me of the scribes and pharisees in the days of Christ.

Paul Washer does tell people to stop idolizing him in other videos, that wasn't particularly the question here. The Bible does talk of local pastors appointed by God to shepherd God's sheep.

I love my pastor! If it were not for him doing a tent revival I would not have found his church and been brought to the truth about Jesus Christ! He is always there for me and my wife and kids...he works his but off and always glorifies Jesus Christ. HE IS SOLD OUT FOR JESUS AND HIS SHEEP.
