I love old football films. But I'm a Browns fan. I notice that the '52, '53 and '57 games are on here, but where is the 1954 game that the Browns won, 56-10???
I don't have a copy of that one formatted correctly. These are copies of my grandfather's (Buster Ramsey, Lions DC) film reels that I was able to convert to DVD. I haven't done that one yet.
@VolBrian Then you know that Buster was the first coach of the AFL Buffalo Bills in 1960. The Bills' original uniforms were Lions clones. Royal & Silver. I know owner Ralph Wilson was a minority owner of the Lions but I didn't know that your Grampa coached there. I wonder if the unis and colors were done on purpose because of the Detroit links. If the Bills had kept the Lions-style unis I probably would have liked them a bit more. Today's Buffalo uniforms are among the worst in foootball.
@44032 Amen. Browns also won in '55 vs. the L.A. Rams. Paul Brown was the greatest coach whoever lived. Shula, Noll, Walsh, Ewbank and Saban all played or coached for PB. The Browns were in 10 straight championship games from 1946-55. People say that the Browns never won the Super Bowl, but I say when they did win championships you had to be #1 in your division. No "wild card" crap. It was best-vs-best. Go BROWNS!
Great stuff. I love old football films. I keep e-mailing NFL Network to run some of these but they never do. Thanks for posting.

how about that goal-line stand

you'd think the Browns would have kicked a field goal on 4th and 20.

The Browns & Lions because of their location & that they were both real good at the same time should've made a great rivalry

Would rather watch football from this era than the crap played currently.
