I have owned a Cayman S (2009) a 911 Carrera S (2007) and now I have a 370Z, the Z represents excellent value for money, people let me out of side turns and I don't worry nearly so much about it.. Loved the Porsches but too much expense and heartache.. I hope I will get another one day though, I am 40 now, maybe when I'm 50.. Silver 991 (2012/13) Carrera with PDK (dual clutch) Gearbox.

@MagicAyrtonforever Thats awesome man! yeah 911's are amazing vehicles but yeah as you pointed out the 370z is just a bargain. i mean you loose a lot of horsepower but with a little tuning im sure you can get it to a 911 specs. I had an 05 350z, good car but never really had that wow factor. but i really want a 370z! i should have one when i turn 21!

@EfiniSeven I'll agree with Nissan making heavy cars, 'cause I've owned a G35 myself. But, Porsche is not an ugly VW. Yes, through the lines, Porsche has made their models with similar looks. But their performance has always been on point, but to me.. most Porsche owners are mid class who doesn't want to dish out another 3-4k for the Factory Aero Kit on the Carrera, which gives it a near GT2/3 look. Same with the Porsche Cayman, I love the dual exhaust for the type S.

@Tswift831 GT-R will probably wear out all of its brake pads within 4 laps though, lol. Since it's such a heavy car. Atleast the Porsches will be able to compete through more than 5 laps, since it's a well balanced car, weight, power, and braking. Not saying GT-Rs a bad car, but if it was a bit lighter, it would definitely be an exceptional car.

as you can see in the best time list the s-tune isn`t matching at all! More than 1 second is a bigger step than from base 911 to 4S

One bad thing about the new 911 is that to use the launch control you have to have the traction control on. However it is very uncomfortable to switch it off again once you are under way and in a race. Notice that they also have it on (yellow blinking light). Does it slow them down a bit, i wonder?
