@crazymonkey2332 they aren't teaching anything religious unless you do ceremonial magic, I found that there is no religious instruction. I have taken classes on vampires, druids, ancient history, Russian, and animal husbandry, and none were religious in any way :)

I am currently studying Oberon's, and the other grey council members' Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard. Oberon is a great teacher and wizard.. I honestly highly recommend his books and his teachings to any magic curious person and current magic practitioner.

I'm reading his book, and concept of good vs. evil I DO NOT agree with. However, there is a old saying, "To each their own. " Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, yet I don't have to agree with everybody's opinion. HS!

There is no common ground between true Christians and any form of magician. God's miracles come by prayer, fasting and glorifying His Name; magick is occult, calling devils to do what one is not supposed to, able to or just too lazy to do, to the glorifying of one's own name. Polar opposites.

Obviously some other Christians don't agree with your opinion. It always amazes me how "True Christian" seems to mean so many different and mutually exclusive things to different people. If any of you actually is the elusive "True Christian" no one else would have any way to tell, since you are all constantly denouncing each other.

Pray is about communication with god, not supernatural forces, thats were demons come in and influence you through wicca (witchcraft), the occult, magic is of satan as the Holy Bible tells man! Yep exactly. But judeo/christian/muslim religions higlight the fact that only the one god who created humans should be asked of this. thats why they are known as monotheistic religions. Where as wiccas, wizards and satinists ask satan and his army for help (jennies). When people want see if soemthing is true or not, they should first assume that everything is right and go on from that instead of aiming at disprooving it.

@Toedeldoe Mages, sages, (etc.) and all wizards alike are all people of wisdom. In fact part of casting magic includes a technique of fasting so it doesnt interrupt with our work.. so you dont know what you're talking about. Also, I find that being a magic user takes a lot more work than having somebody tell us what to do. We study like no other beings on this planet and work tirelessly. Also, believe it or not Christians take part in symbolic blood and flesh rituals (whine bread/ blood flesh)

@Toedeldoe I happen to be a pagan witch and while I respect and love Christians, I have to say that quite a few of you are incredibly intolerant. I have never conjured a devil or demon. Any spells are to help others. It's the same for most witches. Those few who work to harm others and that have given us a bad name (I wont give them the satisfaction of calling them true witches) usually grow out of it by puberty. I fully respect you, but if you expect all to believe as you do you're delusional.

@Toedeldoe. There's no such thing as a "true" Christian. There are 39,000 denominations in your religion, every person interprets the Bible differently, 39,000 different ways lol. It doesn't matter to me, I am no longer Christian, I am Hellenic and am much happier. But it is most certianly possible to be a Christian and practice Magick. Prayer is magick, you are putting your energy out there to deity hoping to create change, that's magick.
