What is that clear film thing he puts in the T-Press..its hanging off the sides. What is it used for getting it out easier? Doesn't heating it melt it. I wish the little details are explained.

Also where can you get a good low price heat gun/thermal stripper..getting all the components like the mixer, heat gun, digital therm. its all adding up so im tryin to get the best i can for the lowest price.

@TheMeister31 Hi, the film is a food film like cellophane. It is melting a little bit outside because of the stripper but not inside. By this way the resin doesn't stick to the bottom of the press. We are located in EU so I don't know in your country where to buy the devices. A flea market or check on Ebay to find the best prices... Instead of a paint stripper you can use a hair dryer and instead of the kitchen mixer a paint stirrer. Check all the machines you have at home too...

@waldojeffershead yes it will be cheaper on Ebay but not sure that you will get the right size mesh screen...Unlike almost all our competitors, our bags are produced in EU and not China. Quality and ethics are our main concerns and yes it has a cost.

@mrphil747 Tu peux aussi utiliser les grandes feuilles de la 1ere coupe pas de probleme, bien qu'elles ne contiennent que peu de trichomes. Quand tu tailles ton plan, garde ces feuilles et fait les secher. Ensuite tu peux les utiliser avec les autres feuilles du plan une fois coupé.

a better way to collect hash out of the water instead of using bubble bags, just simmer the water down, u wont have to make 5 types of hash, and u will get even the stuff in the water that falls threw ur bubble bags....

@hydropropop I would say it was either A.) very dry starting Material or B.) Over mixing (Such as an electric mixer, etc.). Or a combition of the two, either way it is best to Freeze anything before hand at lest 24 hours adn mix VERY gently with semi-crushed ice for helping brittle frozen trichomes fall off into the water.

After mixing I let it sit with the plant material in it for 30 min, and do multipule washes (up to 3 total) based on yield from first batch. 3 min 1st mix, gentle is best.

Last time I made bubble hash I got 13 grams from 90 grams of dried trim.. You will have 10-15% depending on how many runs you go for.. I usually go for 3 runs..

Note boys and girls the method to NOT press hash correctly is by smashing it into your dabbing screen (which is what your acctually supposed to do with it) while it is still wet!!! THC adn water mixed at molecular levels is NOT GOOD.

No wonder you are pressing it in a hash press, it is so contaiminated with veg matter anyway.

@freshray420 Hash ratio is usually 10% of your leaves weight. 1lb is 450g so 40g of Hash is a normal yield

But,There is more usable THC resin in stems then most leaves,You just have to know how to get them out.THC just doesnt magicaly apear on your buds or leaves.It has to go thrue your "STEMS" I could tell you how,but all you guys will do is take a simple idea made cheap.Then slap a gay ass sticker on some device Then RAPE the community with the costs of your CHEAP ASS SILK SCREEN($20) Bubble bags!

Alot of afgani hash is made from the resin from the stems.The natives grabb the stalks with a tight fist from the bottom,then pull the stems thrue.When their hands are full of resin,they rubb them together to create friction and to release the resin into balls.They then build up the balls untill they're atleats a pound ea.That is how real hashish is made!

If I was the one making the hash I would let the resin sit compressed so it stays intact. It won't do anything for a better smoke but personally, I think you could compress it more because it would settle and it would stay in one piece. But I can understand you were in a hurry to make the video.

@94george94 you use the small amounts of trichromes that are on the leaves. It is usually thrown away during harvest but with hash bags you can reap a good amount of hash from something you would normally throw away.
