Oooh - Zander - you are so clever!!! So many amazing tricks! I especially like the one where you turn your head to L & R with your human - can I ask how you learnt that? I'd love to learn that too! :-) I'm also only just learning to "be helpful" and pick up socks for the laundry!

Mum taught me the look left/right trick by using a treat for the first few times to introduce this, then by using a "fake" treat and shaping the intensity of it! I caught on pretty quick this way! Hey, Ashley, I'm so happy you liked our video so much. :) I learned how to teach the Cop Cop trick by watching zSianz1's tutorial. It took alot of time/patience and I found wearing my sneakers(That have some grip-able rubber on top worked best). Also, I found clicking/heavily rewarding when he would place all his weight on one of my feet while trying to figure it out helped alot. Eventually, he started lifting the other paw towards my other foot!
One last thing, keeping your feet turned quite a bit really helped him get the hint! Hope that helps, it's a tough one!! Thanks for such a lovely comment and take care!

He's the most beautiful and smart Golden I've ever seen in my lifetime. :) So many new and wonderful tricks! That dog is AMAZING. I love the walking around the pole trick at 1:30 , and Sparky likes watching Zander stand on his hind legs and walk like a human, haha. And wow, he can do the laundry!! Now that's something I wish Sparky could do.

I love the cane trick! hehe! I have also been working on the laundry thing, but got side tracked with teaching him to put away his toys first among other tricks for freestyle! I love Zander and his eagerness to work! It is nice having a dog with a good work ethic. :)
Yes, it looked like alot of fun so I had to give it a go, amung others as well! :) Awesome, the toy clean-up is how I got thinking to teach him the laundry, heheh. We were training that, then I was like "Aw what the heck!" lol. Yes, it makes training quite a bit easier when they're motivated, fast learners!
