It's amazing how Christian remembers John and Ace. In somewhat way, they are like his fathers and his family, and the bond was just amazingly strong...It made me shed tears

Ace and John did not adopt Christian as a pet lion. They adopted him as a son. That's why their bond is so strong; strong enough that their visit after Boy's death helps Christian be firm and move on.

I feel sorry for both Boy and Stanley. It's terrible that Boy killed him, but it is also horrible for Boy. He was a troubled lion who just couldn't reconcile his human upbringing with his newly found wild intincts. For me though I don't blame the lion, animals are beyond the concept of good and bad which makes them truely innocent. It does mean that sometimes they have to be killed not just for the sake of humans but for the others of their kind.

There is definite beauty and power in a lion, and its great to see documentaries that give us an insight into their lifestyle. That is exactly why after seeing Boy kill someone who was there to help him and look after him i can make the kind of statement i made. Stanley was probably one of the people who bandaged that lion's wounds, following your logic the people there should have let Boy die.

Just because lions are bigger and their teeht have more effect, it doesn't make them more viscious than other animals. House cats still have all their instincts as wel, the teeth are just smaller.
