Is it possible to play "normal" stuff on a moog guitar as well? Or to make the sustain sounds natural?

@Sozialneutralist definately, problem is the people who are likely to get a moog guitar are quite likely to be into really strange sounds. But I could imagine the harmonic emphasis and the sustainer being used in all kinds of interesting and beautiful ways, not just weird sounding shit :p

I love the idea of playin' analog synth style licks on the on a beautifully made six string. This is the best instrument cross over idea in years. I know we've had guitar synths for over 30yrs and they're great, but with the Moog guitar the sound is directly from the instrument its self.

if I got it right, that pedal will control the expression of any 4 effects in your rig at the same time, provided they're actually being used and not bypassed. I can't think of any immediate use for it, but I'm sure there are a handful of good ones!

Yeah, although this is quite good, it's just you can't find anything in a reasonable price range from them but I guess that's our faults.

well you arent just paying for the name, you get the quality as well.. but i hear ya.. I remember before the voyager came out i think there was all this talk about an affordable minimoog.. Even the little phatty was promised to be affordable though in reality it is still beyond the means of most.. I wish they would come though on this..

They're actually saying it right. Most people say it like "Moog" rather than "Mogue," but "Mogue" is the correct pronounciation of the last name Moog. It's one of many things that almost everybody pronounces wrong to the point that the wrong pronounciation is accepted.

Wow, they really didn't cover the guitar at all. It doesn't just have infinite sustain, but controlled sustain (strings you brush don't sustain), and a setting with no sustain (plays like a banjo). They do it with the frequency of the pickups. It's really cool, wish I could get my hands on one.

if you're a guitarist this is alot more fun than pressing keys plus with a guitar there is a much bigger range with this than a keyboard. you can't do harmonics on keyboard without stopping what your doing and pressing some effect on the keyboard. open your mind and experiment a bit. this things a masterpiece. we would we be if people didn't try to push things further and get out of the mental box everyone's locking themselves in
