It has a feel of someone feeling/being alone. Maybe you projected the emotion as you said you played this into the night.

Remember myself playing in a room I rented for a while to play an upright-piano. Sometimes I just felt so alone with the music- especially when playing late.

@TheGuyWhoJustShotYou Cheers! I dont know what you mean by close to the end, but if it is the part around two minutes then the answer is no, they are minor and major thirds. If you mean the part at 3 minutes then heck yes!

@KarlNerman I mean 3:00. the reason I asked is because in theory class we are not allowed to use perfect fifths in a row and that makes writting kinda annoying because I like perfect fifths!

@KarlNerman its just a fuxian rule for composing counter point, NO parallel 5ths or 8ths...my assignments are covered in red ink saying parallel 5th or 8th...But I stay away from them now.

I wouldnt think they would have a rule that would say Beethoven was wrong?

I say, screw the rules mate. Dont limit yourself by others view on whats correct or not.
