those are Ti whistle inserts, small rockets, whistle mix pressed in the tube

how you make a spinning effect in a shell?

well i think you can get a drill bit and drill on a diagonal and screw the inside up but that's the point

laurentprodz: they usually spin by themselfs as they are shot from the gun. if you add a rising tail it is obvious.

Can you please tell how much time did you need to make all these fireworks ?

They're very beautiful.

I have 7 shells 3" and 6 2" starmines for NYE for now. I will have 6 days to NYE to make more fireworks.

i don't know, i make my shells slow, 2-3 months.

this year I will have only 12 x 3-4" and 2x 6". I was to busy to make more, and maybe a 3" fountain.

Ahh, everyones like a total blast, way better than commercial stuff <3 Gotta make more of my own stuff next year. My first ever aerial shell was a success and it was so hard that it made me think of WHAT I exactly did make, it was so loud :D Too bad i only caught the takeoff part on film because I at first thought it blew up on the ground cause it was so loud. Talking bout takeoff blast ;)

BP coated onto rice hulls, and sometimes i add 1g of whistle powder, sometimes FP

where do you get the paper on the outside of the shell, is that kraft, is it glued on? Need to find a source.

yes i use kraft, for pasting the shells. the strips are glued on, 4 layers , i buy it in art stors , or use gummed tape. it's faster

go on some pyro forum's for more information, and you will probably need a couple of months of making them, to get a result, i know i did.
