ya if you get a polaris 800 rmk with the 153 and 2.4 inch paddles u cant get stuck not in the shallow snow. i ride in the colorado mt's and i got stuck 3 times in 2 years. one was a cliff drop where the sled went under the snow, second time was a 23 foot drift and 3rd time was me being retarded by a road and just rammed into a drift cuz i was alchol influenced and showing off. the drift was 4 feet tall and brand new powder though

Seriously the best way to get unstuck is by flatten de snow in front of ur skis..when the path is done u will get out much more easily than if u dig under the track..

Don't dig behind the sled, that won't help. Dig in front of the sled so the front is not hung up and then climb out. If it is wet snow or slush, roll the sled on it's side and pack snow under the track, then roll it back up on to the newly packed snow and voila. Learned this the hard way. Getting stuck is not fun, stick to the trails.

Maybe you two should stick to groomed trails. Pittsburg NH to Rangely Maine is a great day trip with a lot of great scenery to video, start off by riding up Mt Magalloway to the forestry tower. Climb the tower stairs, you'll see 7 or 8 lakes in NH & Maine. Scrub Jays will eat granola bar your bare hand. Closer to home, Winnipesaukee's a short ride from Franklin. Just watch out for open water, I'd hate to see a video of you two sinking your sleds & having to hire a diver to retrieve them.

Holy hell, where does a guy start with this debacle lol, first of all don't sled by yourself, ever. Secondly don't buy a tank for snow. I tested a yammy like yours and got it stuck in less than 5 minutes and I'm far from inexperienced, the rider position is all messed up, I think, anyways it was an eye opener, that thing is a heavy fat mess and I feel sorry for anyone who is suckered into buying one for anything more than a trail ride.

When ur standing in 2 feet of snow and try to lift something that weighs that much u just sink. I have a Nytro and summit and when I get that Nytro stuck it's pretty much just worth it to leave it until spring.
