  • Whew! Almost want room for both of the girls on that page1

  • I am very proud of Michele Obama. She is elegant and graceful and beautiful. She is everything a first lady should be. I really despise my country's politics, but its ONLY saving grace is that the Obamas are the face of our nation. They deserve every accolade given to them, and the naysayers can keep on hating, because they can't change the history books on this one.

  • @555pghbob and she is black!!! :) that makes it even better!

  • Very interesting point! Well said!

  • Why is there so many racist comments on this page? Compared to the other first ladies, I mean your seriously saying Michelle is less then them? I give her credit, she doesn't give a rats ass what racist America thinks of her. That in itself should be proof enough that she deserves to be the First Lady. Michelle is a trooper. She the strongest first lady I ever saw coming from America.

  • Michelle Obama is now Evita? More like queen Kong.

  • bueno ... no es tan mala la comparación... yo una vez dije Obama será la version norteamericana de De la Rúa..(ex presidente argentino).. jjajaj unos buenos para nada..

  • Not letting anyone rate the videos who are not positive?

  • @Freedomterri That's not possible to only allow positive ratings.

  • Oh please, who cares!! Our country has much more important things to be concerned about.

  • I agree with the way you analyzed the pics and quote on the magazine, thus coming to such conclusion.

  • Wow...I never though of First Lady Michelle Obama being akin to Evita Peron...and whats funny was we just spoke of Evita in my Spanish 203 class...how interesting

  • Just Super!

    Both of you stay safe!

  • Michelle Obama is a little black girl from the south side who took an unlikely journey to the top of the heap and made it, as a result she is now in the history books until the end of time. This is what happens to little girls who keep their heads in their books and the boys out of their panties. She has knocked down every single stereotype meted out against black women over the years and now lives an enviable life in the white house. Little wonder the haters hate so much. Michelle rocks !!

  • this is great

  • WOW JUST BEAUTIFUL. WE LOVE 1ST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA. NO ONE IS SO POWERFUL NEVER A 1ST LADY THAT CAN WARE SHORTS OR BACK OUTS..EVER..SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND 1ST CLASS

  • Nice clip!

  • @michealati Woah. Positive feedback on this clip. I'm in shock. Thank you!!!

  • @evitastories My pleasure...too many go online to vent thier anger and frustrations of thier personal lives. Sad but true.

  • @michealati Yes, the Internet can be very hostile.

  • I guess you've seen my video on Eva Peron being an ESTP.

  • how? how are they similar? and in what revolution is Mrs. Obama? I think just the struggle and we all have struggles in our lives. So can you give more feedback in detail? be interesting to hear your points of comparison and conclusion making of both as similar in..?

  • They are similar in that (1) they are both first ladies, (2) they are the first women of their background to be first ladies.

What is so complicated about this to get, people? It's a simple observation. Eva Peron was a first lady, and she was the first Argentine first lady to come from a humble background. Michelle Obama is a first lady, and she's the first African American first lady in US history. Therefore, they are both revolutionary first ladies.

  • I agree. What has Michelle Obama done for women or the poor?

  • Leaders are put up on the stage as actors for the masses. They control very little. Governments are controlled behind the scenes by the private central bankking cartels who issue the nation's currency and credit. The rest is just a show for the people to keep them busy and ignorant.

  • Who cares. The world is having problems. Big talk about social issues, unimployment, Obama maybe heading the E.U. , Canada, US, and Mexico liningup as one country. Dude you are posting about Michelle and Ophra. By the way her hips are photoshopped big time.

  • Due to her media influence, Oprah is one of the most powerful women in the world. Some say her endorsement of Obama was instrumental in getting him into the White House. Oprah is the first female black billionaire. Michelle Obama is the first black first lady of the US. I posted this video on my channel about the discussion of a first lady who was a powerful media presence in her country. Seems pretty on-topic to me....

  • Sorry, I'm still not impressed. That was my country that she was bad mouthing. For a gal who has been taken care of by the hardworking people of the United States all of her life...I would have expected better. My family took NOTHING, I personally asked for no breaks, no matter how hard the times...and you know what? I LOVE my country. It's not about what you GET, it;s about what you GIVE,,,Michelle. Got it?

  • @happy2bUSA -I respectfully disagree with what you have said. I feel all of our first ladies deserve our respect & admiration for what they do-for what they give to this nation & that includes Mrs. Obama. I think she is an outstanding First Lady who works hard to give back to her country. She does a full time job that she did not apply for-it came with her husband's job. She gets no monetary compensation for this so in actuality everything she does as First Lady is giving back to the USA.

  • Was that in the Fraser/Navarro book or the Ortiz book ? Being an ardent Evitista you should know ! ...and please let me be clear: I really am not diminishing Michelle O. But Evita Peron WORKED herself TO DEATH at 33 yrs. old on behalf of justicialismo and the rights of workers. The only leaders we have (U.S.) are bought and paid for by Wall St.,Big Oil, Insurance giants, media barons or a combination of all of the above. Evita would be shocked to see a nation with such a weak labor movement.

  • That's in the Fraser/Navarro book. I understand your perspective on Michele Obama. She will go down in the US history books, but she will not make the same impact as Eva Peron. I doubt anyone will write a musical about her and doubt thousands will petition the Vatican to have her declared a saint.

  • I see no connection here. Michelle Obama is a nice lady;quite smart, has some style and of course happens to be African-American. This certainly gives her historical cred, but beyond that she is no more radical than any middle echelon executive/director/division manager etc. The same goes for her husband. EVITA was a force of nature, an insurrectionist, an incarnation of elemental justice against the smug, mighty and self-annointed. She would NOT be handing banks trillions. She'd burn them down.

  • It's not a profound connection. It's just that they are both first ladies and are revolutionary. Michelle Obama is revolutionary for being the first African American first lady in US history. But there will never be another Evita.

  • Never say never. If the current economic meltdown elevates into a general, systemic, social calamity it is certain that there will be terrifying women of righteous wrath rising to lead. Women understand crisis and catastrophe more deeply than most men can because they usually have a front row seat. As sensitive as women can be, when they finally take up arms there is no stopping them. We WILL see revolutionary women, but it won't be bourgeois Michelle or Oprah or Hillary or Rosie or Angelina.

  • ...but one thing I will give Michelle..like Evita (and the last five U.S. First Ladies) she is probably a lot smarter than her husband. Who I voted for incidentally.

  • During her European tour Evita saw the tombs of the King and Queen of Spain. She was told that the teen's head sunk further into her coffin than the King's. It was said that it sunk further because the wife's brain was bigger. Evita said, "That's always the case."

  • Michelle Obama has turned out to be one fantastic First Lady. She possesses qualities that gives pride the us US citizens, especially after a long and stale administration, and I am being kind about that. We are lucky to have Michelle Obama as our First Lady. As for the Evita connection, I understand what you are saying; but it will take a long time for me to make that comparison. Evita is so exceptional to me, no one as yet, in my eyes, comes close to her.

  • slicbro you are so mean by making that comment ! Open your mind a little bit. There is some sort of similarity in this political situation for her. A young, charming lady, classy but also black what is the major factor of this case. For Evita it was being a woman that took major part in politics for the first time and for Mrs. Obama it will be the task of being first black woman to become First Lady. Plus I find her very charismatic indeed ! She def. has potential to make it unique and special.

  • Michelle Obama is already very historical, just being the first black first lady in the US.
