When you title a movie 'Catwoman' and give reference to Catwoman... people come to see ... you guessed it Catwoman. The attitude was there, but not the story. As it is Patiance seems more possessed than empowered.
Had they tried to 'keep it real' they probably would have gotten a better reception. Made her a master of Capoeira and Parkour for example. There was no need to bring all that divine intervention shit into it.

Well the beginning with her doing her hair, and riding the motorcycle is Klaus Badolt's Rooftop but when she's fighting the robbers (my favorite part and song) is actually Natasha Shneider's Who's in Control :)
