  • Has anyone made this recipe in a conventional oven? What temperature and how long did it take approx? I'm worried the chilli will be too hot if I bake it as opposed to how it's barbecued in the video.

  • @priya1699, cut it in 4 and grill it. add oil in masala

i am now planning to try this chicken tikka and had a few questions about the recipe:

    1. I have the same coal grill as your's so how long would i need to cook it

    2. should i cook on high or low heat

    3. do i need to baste the chicken with oil or ghee

    4. should i add oil in the marinade

    pls advise.

    thanks :-)

  • @bsahaya1 hight heat, aag bherke to pani ka cheenta de ker bujha lo. plate main rakhi 1 min main jo juice nikle woh plate main pink na dikhey to samjho ho gaye, ziyadah na banana. aur chori se chiken lena 2banana 8 tukre kerna werna thori per jaye gi. oils ooper lagana, us se aag bharakti hai aur juices ander seal hote hain. door kerke angeethi se oil lagana werna tumhara bhi tikka ban sakta hai :)

  • it was never a part of chiken tikah recipe. You cant alter authentic, traditional recipe. They are not mine, I show basics its not my place to change it to my likings. Every one else is free to alter to their likings.

  • I really like the way you cook but will you please tell me the measurement of the mix , one tea spoon or table spoon ? Please

  • It grill it might get a bit dry! Cover your stove well wit foil if its gas, and make it on low flame. Or cut in 4 pc and make it in grill, pull it out and apply oil repeatedly. Seekh kebab, just fry them in 1tbs oil in non stick frying pan for……….superb & quick results

  • thank u so much for this 5 star i love how u remove all the fat from the bird i will try it tonight

  • Good luck! baar baar BBQ ke dauraan bacha howa masala lagati jana, aur oil bhi.

  • Please can you tell us the quantities of the ingredients.

  • One Md chicken, 2ginger, 1 garlic, 2-2 ½ tbs chili powder, 1ts salt, 1/2ts turmeric powder, ¼th cup water to grind ginger and garlic, lemon juice 1/3rd cup, food color, oil to apply during BBQ.

  • uff Bajia this Tikka looks "Kaatil". I can't wait to make it. dekh kay hee pata chul raha hai how amazing it will be!!

  • Good luck!

  • Bajia I made the weekend. Taste was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. My only concern was that the chicken had a little bit of smell. I cooked it in the oven. Do you think I needed to cook the chicken more and let the water in it dry more?

  • Salaamz

I have started cooking and have doubled the mirch compared to haldi and namak. you have not quantified it.

I have become a great fan of yours.:-)

  • We dont know the quantity of water or lemon. We need to make it like kheer or thick paste. When you BBQ chili burn and its not so hot any more. I my self have never measured. 2-3 tbs shayad in ½ cup of total mixture.

  • wah g wah its was really nice

  • Thank you:) I made it with little chicken boties on slakhain yesterday BBQ them, enjoyed it really. I grinded ginger and garlic equally in grinder with 1/6th cup of water and 1/3 cup lemon juice and sifter it pressed it with spoon to get the max the juice came out was thick then I added chili powder and the rest. As long as you know the basics then you always get the 100% results in cooking.

  • cake recepie

  • ))) only basics.salan roti person) not a smart cook! even deserts its mums job!

    Sorry

  • thnkx

  • Sorry I have no idea how to make ice-cream. One of my friend gave me QULFI recipe but it was thick and heavy so I wont recommend that. I am not a person who could call a sausage seekh kabaab) recipes must be right, practical and quick. I loved one desert its made with biscuit base, thickened cream condensed milk, strawberries and walnuts. It goes to the freezer to set and its like ice-cream. Thats a wonderful dish to learn. Will find time to do that for you.

  • can u show ice cream pls thanx

  • very nice recipe.. thank you.
