honestly it's just one of those things. everyone has their reasons for doing it. Most people that I know just do it because it's a social thing. a lot of kids like to skate high because it makes them almost "fearless," things slow down and become easier to focus on. if your sesh isn't good just smoke a bowl and just watch your friends till you get pumped enough to skate again. after taking this all into account it's hard not to be influence by our friends and favorite skaters who we idolize.

reynolds 3s are heavy as shit, cupsoles are lighter than vulcs, you get less boarfeel, but theyre lighter. The Reynolds 2s were the standard cupsole shoe, the Reynolds 3 were the thiner vulcanized seemless toecap model, the boss were the thick padded stairset killers.
