Had a Casio MT 45 (among others) in the 80s - the SSS bassline could have come straight out of it. That's what makes this track unlistenable. There's creativity there, but the execution is awful - even for the 80s. Get a bassline in there that doesn't sound like a £50 Japanese toy and you'd have something. Unfortunately, this doesn't have it.

Tony James grabbed influences from loads of different types of music, genres and eras to create something unique.
