I saw him play with my own eyes. He had surely the most speed in his moves. Beside that he was a real "Spielmacher".

He was so fast in his way of playing the game that the eyes could hardly follow him. His style was the most beautyful the world ever saw, a real legend, their was realy no one like him. But he was only a human, and of course it's a team-sport, don't talk about the few games he lost, but think about the many great things he achieved.

I wish I was around to actually witness his class with my own eyes not vids of the past. I bet he was a real gem on the eye. He's a role model for the likes of the Ronaldo's and the stars of today. Without Cruyff there'd be no flair as we see today. Football would be a very boring sport.

Based on? That one great run against England? Cruyff made runs like that all the time, you can see in the vid. Based on the trophies he won in his career? Doubt it, 'cause Cruyff won way more. Based on pure technical skill? Maybe Maradona is better in that department, unlikely but still, but you can do all the tricks you want, in the end you have to be effective on the pitch, I think Cruyff beats Maradona in that area too.
