i love piano i love piano i love to hear somebody playyyy upon a piano a grand piano it simply carries me away... i know a fine way to keep a stine way? i love to run my fingers ore the keys the ovriers with the pedal i love to medal not only music from broadway im so delighted if im invited it simply carries me away so u can keep ur fiddle and ur bow give me a P-I-A-N-O oh i love to stop right beside an upright by a high toned baby grand!!!
Sorry, but this is lame. Ragtime needs to be played about a thousand times faster ... this is like the background music they play at a wake. And without the lyrics, the song loses 90 percent of its verve. (Although the lyrics sung at this dirge-like pace would seem like a euology.)
I'm sure allot of you know that Scott Joplin, one of the greatest Ragtime Composers, said, "it's never right to play ragtime fast", and I agree. But you can have your own opinion, but, it doesn't 'need' to be played faster!
in 1820 a man named fredrick osloft one day he was working in his lab until a ghost came by and killed him the next morning fredrick was nowhere to be seen 100 years later two boys went in the lab as a dare the boys where never seen again where aparently murdered now that u have read this comment tonight when u go to sleep the two boys and fredrick will come and murder you but you can stop this by posting this comment on 5 other videos by midnight im sorry i relly hate these things :'(
One of my favorite songs! A little bit of trivia here -- Liberace never played that song. Because Liberace was associated with the Baldwin piano company, and in the lyrics of "I Love a Piano", it refers to a "Steinway"!
Thank you so much for your comment. Thom and I are good friends and we try to meet once a year since he lives in Greenville SC and I live in the Netherlands. So you'll have to wait till we meet again. -Lana-
