why the fuck are they marching for. st george's day is the saint day for st george, who is the patron saint of england. not northern ireland, loaylism or the orange order.
i was born and have lived in england all my life, and i know that most english people don't care what you lot have have to say and some would go as far as calling you lot racists.
like st patricks day for the irish, st georges day is about patriotims and nationalism for the english people.
@johnny45irish I thought my answer was quite plain. English men who happen to be members of the Orange Order of England are marching to celebrate their patron saint's day. What is wrong with that, why shouldn't they celebrate their patron saint, or invite whoever they like to provide musical accompaniment to the parade? If the organisers of the Dublin Saint Patrick's day parade invited the Sons of Mohammud Flute Band to play, would I get upset because I don't like Islam, would I heck.
@johnny45irish Look at the hundreds of tourists following and stopping to film it! The English love their marching bands as much as the rest of us British citizens do!
