@MstEli That was stupid. IMO I always thought his rage and his evil soul is what kept him to cross over in the dreams. remeber Fred was an urban legend after he died. So the more the kids talked about him and feared him the more powerful he got.

@MstEli I suppose. Even though Freddy is also the bastard son of a 100 maniacs. ( Long story short she worked in a mental hospital, was accidently locked in and the inmates raped her and the guards later found her pregnant. She gave Freddy up for adoption shortly after his birth.)

@starkiller20293 I believe Amanda dies shortly after Freddy was born. If you watch Freddy's dead, it shows him as a kid and he smashes a hamster with a hammer. (Violence toward animals especially at a young age, usually leads to violence to people later in life.)
