I like this rod too but I also like cars with big rims & systems yet I look on those videos & see hate comments saying ni**er cars & people downing the work done on the cars. Why is that? Love it, especially the engine. Everyone has to put a V8 in a car for it to be "cool", but it's even cooler this way. Sounds nice, lumpy cam, etc. But it sounds like it really needs lower gearing; my car sound like that when I try to start in third gear. BluBlupBlup....

I ponder another 3 main mystery with microphones. my old sube does the same thing. kick a bass speaker the camera gets it. start the engine? the mic dies in bass freqs. Bizarre thing to notice. even with good cameras. mine is 48khz mpeg2 stereod. really nice bug .

It IS a VW engine. I have been working on VWs for over 30 years and when it shows the engine when it starts you can see its a AS41 block used in VWs. It also was in Hot VWs magazine a few years ago. You can buy the Porsche style fan shroud from Bernnie Bergman to put on a VW engine.

Im building one right now,starting out as a 73 beetle and will be something like that when done,but no top on mine.FUEL PUMP?Thats a duel carb engine,its a mechanical fuel pump.

it is whatever kind of pump you want it to be.

my 67 has electronic to the duals. all you need is the wires and a block off plate for the case. Large displacement engines need electric fuel pumps or theyll run dry.
