Hello Lili,

I wouldn't suggest using jam. Jam already has sugar in it and so your pie will be far too sweet. Pure raspberries of any kind will work just fine.

No, the sugar makes it taste sweet. Trust me, if you like raspberries, you'll like this pie.

it looks absolutely delicious! sadly Im allergic to lemons, lime and oranges.. can you skip the lemon and still get a great pie?

If you use the yolks and whites together when brushing the pie, it will be a lot more golden =)
