  • I remember the day when I got BC and I played it right away with my blood elf. It was so exciting to go somewhere new with someone new.

  • I Cry when i hear that song...

  • wow is ne big memory, everything of it, since i stopped playing. i desire so much to it again...

  • reminds me of when I very first started WoW as a belf.... aah.... I miss those days so much....

  • i remember the good old days when i played TBC my first hero was BE priest and it was awsome i miss being a noob and dont know what to do what to do whit my talant points what magics are for i miss wow :(

  • Ah i miss this song, i remember being a little noobie running through just having a good time, Now i have the same belf that is a 85 holy pally :"((

  • this song reminds me of my first time playing WoW as a blood elf mage

miss those days being a noob :)

  • I absolutley love the cello at 0:44!!

  • When I play WoW, I usually turn off the music and just listen to the ambiance all the way because I find it so much better, but when I make a BE, I keep the music on for sure. Best starting zone music in this game, maybe even the best music period.

  • It was not considered an addiction until after the Scourge destroyed the well. Until their source was cut off, it was but part of life, like drinking or eating for us. Not an addiction, but a part of life.

  • When I first played WoW, I had the volume to max because it was so enchanting. Then I started gaining levels and at lvl 80 I couldn't stand the sound of gut-ripping and weaponry. I miss my noob-hood :D

  • I sigh at the second-most popular comment. It was the Scourge that cursed them with their addiction after tainting the Sunwell. -.-

    Learn your lore.

  • @Ark1non actually, after Arthas tainted the sunwell was the moment the blood elves realized just how addicted they were to their arcane magic. Their addiction developed over the constant centuries of using the arcane in their everyday life that it wasn't until their source was taken away that they realized the predicament they were in. So really the addiction was their own fault, not Illidan's or the Scourge's.

  • besto song in wow, I try to make another race but, but i miss this music and i make BE.

  • 0:00-0:25 Makes me wanna close my eyes and wake up in eversong:)

  • last one almost made my cry. damn it. too short!

  • violins' cry

    :'(

  • My first WoW character was a Blood Elf! ^^ I remember how much I adored the Eversong area, and I got sad when I was too high of a level to stay there.

  • i think this is my favorite song out of the entire WoW pack. when people refer to this game as stupid and geeky, it is probably the worst misconception i've ever heard in my life. I have friends that just don't understand that something like this can produce such a lovely sound. It makes one feel sad yet peaceful at the same time. Love it.

  • Such a soothing music, I love it! I remember when I used to level my first BE, could spend hours in this area, just because the music was so great.

  • the chello parts are simply undescribable!

  • i love listening to this and the Elwynn forest soundtrack on rainy days.... it sooths you and tingles your body for some odd reason.

  • For the Sin'dorei!!!!

  • same melody as the Lament of the Highbourne

  • This is the best soundtrack in the whole game

    This and Silvermoon city

  • To me Eversong Woods soundtracks are kinda romantic :P

Every time i hear them i imagine myself with my special one is some romantic date lol.

  • This song is gay ... except 00:00 - 3:27

Best song in the game !

  • @NearbyHermit I can play it at piano ; D;D;D;D;D ;Pppp

  • @mortenkul I'm officially your fan !

  • @NearbyHermit Kewl ; D ty - Uploading soon ; )

  • @NearbyHermit you are wrong it is a elf song not gay, just because you are, it does not mean everything you like is gay, please it is the same if i'd say it is a wonderful track just because who plays is heteros

  • @elwarriors77 What in fucking earth's name is your problem ?

    Do I know you ?

And did I ever said something against this awesome piece of music, you idiotic piece of trash ?

  • @elwarriors77 someone needs to go back and reread. he said the song was gay EXCEPT 0:00 - 3:27 ... which is the whole song. wow. way to go.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH I FOUND IT

  • Epic track. Nuff said.

  • Beautiful. The 'new classical'...Beethoven would love this!

  • this awesome track makes me feel warm and safe and whenever i have some problem , it wipes it from my head and never think of some thing else instead but just listening and it deserves to have 0 Dislikes =)

  • BTW to DL this use video2mp online dl and converter.

You only have to agree to the terms of use ofc. lol

  • i like to listen to world of warcraft soundtracks when i am sleeping so the adventure continues in dreams as-well !

  • @LegoPete09 as I do too!!! :)

  • @Ladeebug59 lol :))

  • what i really like about the WoW music it throughout each expansion, you can hear the differences in the orchestra that created the music. it gives you kind of a new experience when you delve into this new continent.

  • I was so excited when I found out about the expansion, because both Azuremyst and Eversong looked amazing. And while I still love Azuremyst in both music and scenery, it can't beat Eversong.

  • I LUV WOW:D

  • I ADORE the music in World of Warcraft. I don't like the game anymore. I felt sad, but also released when I quit. The music still remains on my Ipod though.

  • This song is so.. perfect.

  • Where do i go to download this song for an Ipod? Please answer my question too.

  • During Music class

    or even Autumn,

I love Imagining this Piece of Music Playing ^^

  • I love the sound of the cello (--.-- )... magical.

  • Anyone knows where to buy/download this song?

  • this song reminds me of trying to find this Belf rogue that kept trying to kill me lol

  • Ah... this brings back memories of leveling my pally when he was still a lil lowbie. XP

  • this is soo nice xDD all bloodelves remember that place :D

  • and BTW, there's a website called wowwiki, where you can inform yourself if you haven't got any lore-books at home (which I suppose.)

  • Stop becoming insulting, you only make yourself look infantile by doing this. Well, according to the comments on your profile I guess you only have some problems in real life or something like that, so you insult other people in the internet.

I won't lower myself to your level by insulting you back though.

Your quote from WowWiki does NOT contradict to all the things I tried to explain in all my comments before. Honestly, did you even read them?

  • The fact that you need to troll other people for getting attention leads me to believe that you're nothing but a poor outsider who doesn't get any attention in real life.

  • I already proved you wrong, because as opposed to you, I don't need to insult people for making a statment.

Unlike you, I have tons of official Warcraft Lore Books and Novels, so unlike you, I don't rape the whole Lore by explaining that Night Elves use their Moonwells for absorbing arcane magic, or all the other rubbish you told.

Reading some questtexts does NOT help you becoming a lore-expert.

  • By the way, if you're on wowwiki at the moment anyway, you could read the article about the different kinds of arcane magic and their effects, especially the article about fel magic.

  • It's songs like this that make me say:

"Fuck you Lich King soundtrack! You suck!!"

  • The Lich King soundtrack is excellent. How can you say that when you listen to the Stormpeaks theme and the Iron Dwarf theme?

  • Truthfully... I love the Icecrown theme, and had heard the Storm Peaks theme was on par with it. But all I hear is flutes and such. It sounds kind of empty to me... so I found myself using a soundtrack add-on and putting a chosen song of my own in its place.

  • You're the first person I've heard who has said that the Storm Peaks theme was empty.

  • @AidanMclaren Eh... I'm probably just hearing the wrong part each time, tbh. :S

But it just seems like the only thing playing when I'm there is a random melody with a flute, which I'm not fond of.

  • <333

  • The Sunwell is restored anyway, Blood Elves are NOT addicted to magic anymore and their Blood Knights belive in the Holy Light again.

  • That cello is AMAZING!

  • man, mis playing BC ALOT! now that wotlk came out theres mroe lag... more errors...and problems with the game, just sucks now... i had to reinstall wow 2 times to make it so my mouse would stop lagging, i noticed that when wotlk came out that the graphics are crap now too... and now cataclysm is comign out...hope that will be good and fix wotlks problems... wow is broken beyond repair

  • It's called 'Hardware Curso', it's in the Interfece menu...

  • Cursor*

  • Which is ironic, because this is the daytime version of this song.

  • 2:20 You can just imagine yourself walking alone in the streets at night.

  • ya u can haha! this music is magical!

  • especially 1-1:10

  • Very nice. very elegent, and high elfish.

  • For the Alliance!

  • BloodElf: Anu belorei delana,

    Orc: Zug Zug?

    Tauren: isnealu porah?

    diffrent languages,,,,

but they have 1 in comon,

    FOR THE HORDE

  • I always listen this song when I see sunset... and makes me cry

  • Yeah.. The song itself seems to almost speak to into your inner emotions, nearly telling a story of suffering, but how mystical elven beauty and tenacity persists through even the worst of times..

That's what the Blood Elves are all about. They endure, improving upon themselves each coming day.

  • yep, the belfs are repairing themselves day after day, tryign to overcome their addiction of magic that illidan cursed them with..

  • Comment removed

  • Well, you can't compare someone who was addicted to cocaine to the Blood Elves, this is nothing but stupid.

Before Arthas invaded Quel'Thalas, the High Elves used clean arcane magic through the Sunwell, which didn't corrupt them in so many negative ways like the Demonic Magic they later used.

So Illidan didn't explained the Blood Elves how to use the same (cleaner) arcane magic, which they used for over seventhousand years, but a more darker and demonic magic which makes them more addicted.

  • Plus, the High Elves never EVER felt any feelings of addiction while the Sunwell was intact, because they were constantly provided with arcane magic.

  • So in the end, you can indeed say that Illidan cursed the Elves with giving them access to a drug-like kind of magic, which corrupts you and makes you even more addict, because you always need more and more of it.

I advice you to inform yourself a little bit more about the Lore before inventing some strange stories about the Warcraft Universe.

  • @ninjapunx Belfs are like druggies

  • @ninjapunx Illidan didn't curse them with it. They always had it, and with the destruction of the Sunwell it only got worse.

  • @ninjapunx What? Illidan didn't give them the addiction. Night Elves are addicted to arcane. They had the Well of Eternity there, so they never had cravings. The high elves left and built a sunwell because they were not near the well of eternity. The Sunwell was destroyed by the Lich King, so now to keep their addiction in check, Illidan told them to use Fel Energy. Turning their eyes green. if they consume too much, they turn into Wretched. Blood Elves must deal with their addiction another way

  • i dont know if this is weird, nice or pathetic, but i kinda lika it =p

  • brings out alot of emotions, makes you think about the forgotten wars and the sad history..

  • Go Blood Elves!!!!

  • very nice melody, elves places always have vry nice soundtracks

  • When i first heard this track it made me feel as tho I was in a dream/nightmare . the song itself carries as tune of decay and pride. sort of a tune of "all is not what it seems, and nothing is what it once was." Perfectly fitting for the Blood elves.

  • r u like sum sorta poet or sumthin? that statment is so profound

  • @PaxAmericana24 well said mate =)

  • FOR THE SUNWELL!

  • This game is unique about the music..Every starting area has the amazing music and when you have so long time to play like me, this music brings so many memories..This game is worth every peny because of this great music, even if anyone can play only few minutes...

  • @costas1010 actualy it would make me very sad if i was only aloud to play for a few minutes cos like its jsut awsome man it makes me sad when i quited.

  • this actually makes me miss TBC. the raiding and lore was better than this argent crusade crap.

  • Yeah.. TBC was the best..Wrath screwed everything up soo bad..

  • ya it did, wotlk ruined the game, i stoped playing it cause of wotlk... miss BC

  • I can listen to this for hours and still not be bored of it :)

  • the cello is kinda depressing

  • i think its supposed to be "depressengly beutiful"

  • the story of the blood elfs was the most tragic so the point of the music was to make something that sounded sad just stating that the composer suceeded

  • well said allasmamma123

  • the place are overrun by ghouls and undead, how can it not be depressing? especially in ghostland

  • Most beautiful track in the game.

  • Night Elves and Blood Elves both have the absolute best starting areas in the game. and best lore in the game.

love the song 0:44 - 1:12 is my favorite part :D

  • SAME ^_^

  • Supposedly, they make use of a dissonant chord that evokes a kind of spiritual unrest...

Beautiful and unnerving at the same time.

It was known in the past by some as "The Devil's Chord." Pretty cool.

  • @blueshoals I think 'The Devil's Chord' (Tritonus) would've made the piece sound awfully bad - that's why it's the devil's' chord, it makes stuff sound bad :p I think it's just a mix of minor and major scales. But yea, it seems as if the choir makes some dissonant something between them and the instruments. :o

    Divine melody anyway..

  • My favorite starting area is without questioning eversong :D

  • Absolutely wonderful. Such a dream-like, fantasy and awe-inspiring melody. Brilliant.

  • Eversong Woods is by far my favorite zone in the game. Even though its only a 1-10 starting area, there is so much to look at and check out. I'm mostly an Alliance player but I do run a Bloof Elf warlock, and Silvermoon is also my favorite city out of the original 8.

  • Same. 'Cept most of my Belf alts are pallies. xD (My main's a priestess, so it's a nice break)

  • Love it

  • Comment removed

  • very beautiful... I like this more than the music in the night

  • Beautiful...:D...Just Brilliant

  • Im in love with this game

  • Agh, the cello in this is so beautiful.

    ~<3

  • I play Alliance, but blood elf soundtracks are very enjoyable, and well composed. Nice job, Blizzard! :)

  • @komiszkumisz as we all know, blood elves were once high elves and they were alliance
