What cleverness!! Fighting the first army on one side of the bridge and then crossing the bridge whilst pursuing before fighting the reinforcements on the other side! :D

And what type of archers did you use? They seem to be able to knock down even Norman knights! This is true genius, although i lolled at 10:12!! ;D

@JUKIO01 yup these guys were MEN, now a a days soldiers call in shit tons of support to kill 2 or 3 guys but in the process killing hundreds of civilians, AND THEN they go in and fight

Just win 1 of the France, Holy Roman Empire, English, Venetian, or Spanish (The starting 5 factions) Campaigns, and you'll get about all the factions that you can play in the game :-)

Dude I know downloading games is illegal but seriously, get PeerGuardian2 (guards you from gouverment IP) and just download it. Type in the box Rome Total War free download guide or something, then do the same thing with Medieval 2. If you have any problems send me a message, I might be able to help you out.

i noticed that when the enemy engages u... they've already lost a sufficient amount of troops 4 u 2 have a ''ray of hope'' of victory.... ive noticed this in all ur battles.... hmmmm....

Don't make that mutch troops and build a good economy. :)

As your army gets larger you'll have to spend more to keep up with the army upkeep. Use those troops to conquer more cities and when your done be sure to sack the place so you get the most florins from it. After the city is yours it'll help bring in money just like all your other cities.

you can put stakes in front of the english longbow men aswell. It depends what terrain they are on.

can you get the papal states and the aztecs in the map

they are unlockable, that means there is no chance you can play them. unless you want to code in a file to make them playable. Oh, and Aztecs is a playable faction in the expansion, Kingdoms. Papal States is not in the expansion.

I used to cheat all the time, but there's this one little thing I found out...

If you put all your cities on "very low" tax rate (after 30 or so turns of high tax rate), you'll get boat-loads more money, after 50 turns or so.

Usually, I can end up getting 30 or 40k money a turn by turn 90 or so.

I usually never win until like turn 230 or something, though. =/

Yeah I agree since the cavalry is the strongest units. Just use about 4 infantry units to hold them in place and lots of cavalry and archers to support them.

Very very impressive work, you do get through these chronicles fast don't you? I tend to move very slowly. My English campaign (on easy) I have only 15 regions in over 100 turns. Still. It's better than I did in Shogun. But now I keep getting roughed up by the Mongols. grrr... I hates them so much!
