Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't answered any of the questions that were posted here. I created this account on a whim and then misplaced the username and password, which has just been found. So, I'll try and address whatever questions that have come in and I'll try and record some "worthwhile activity" on at least one of my scanners to post here. Meanwhile, happy listening.

You must have a giant antenna or be located next to the ARTCC because that is crystal clear reception. Amazing!

I dont know where you are and what you've programmed but its likely an issue of not having a digital trucked system properly programmed. My advice to everyone is get the saoftware and then drag and drop whatever you want through the software from Radio Reference - it could not be any easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BCD396XT, What's this? help me !!! the frequency changes but most

the audio is encoded, "I hear so crackling" ... I hear only one side of the communication another part is encoded. the radio is defective or is configuration. How to make the correct configuration ?

While there are several other programs out there to program these scanners, some of them free, my expirience is with ARC Pro software and I really like it. These radios/scanners come with a learning curve even to those who work with scanners, so to try and enjoy these without programming software is a setup for lots of frustration! If you get this scanner, YOU HAVE TO get the software too!

When i buy one of these ... how would i learn to use it?. I am a 1at time user and do not know much about scanners.

You're also hearing my BCT15 scanner which is just out of frame in the background. I should have turned it down.
